I purchased a 2012 STI, just to find out a few days later the motor was bad. I tried a few local shops in my area (Virginia Beach) but wait times were insane and so were their prices! After some research I stumbled across Forced Induction Performance. Let me tell you, these guys are awesome! We talked over the phone and discussed my plans for this build, budget, set real expectations and the next day I had my baby shipped to them! During the process Jesse and Justin were extremely professional and detailed about everything. I picked her up last weekend and couldn’t be happier that I chose these guys to do open heart surgery on my baby, she RIPS!! They are awesome and I truly wish I could give them more stars! ✨

By far one of the best automotive experiences. Jesse and Justin are true masters of their craft and you can clearly see that as soon as you step foot in their shop. These guys put their heart and soul into every job and it shows with the quality of work performed. Being a mechanic myself it’s extremely hard to trust other mechanics and shops when there’s things that are out of my league but when you meet these guys you don’t feel one bit of negative energy at all. They took my wagon and did the dam thing to it!!! So now I am planning for the next step and I feel comfortable handing my keys over to these guys for the next level !! Highly Recommend

I have had a bunch of work performed and Jesse has always been quick to get the job done, and extremely meticulous in the process. I go to the shop just to hang out as well, showing how awesome and down-to-earth these guys are. I HIGHLY recommend visiting these guys for all of your performance needs, regardless of make or model!

Forced Induction Performance did an awesome job on my Mazdaspeed3. Turn around time was within 3 months, car runs flawlessly, and they replaced everything that was previously done on the car so there wasn’t any issues. Recommend Jesse and Justin 100% to anybody looking for a reliable and awesome build!

These guys are amazing. Within 10 minutes of dropping ifo the car they explained issues I was having with the kind of detail and enthusiasm for the work you only get from real car guys. They updated me daily with pictures and options on how to proceed. Finally they gave great advice and guidance on my HP goals. Needless to say they won my loyalty with only one visit. Had my ej255 built by Jesse and Justin, Had a great experience the guys are friendly, informative and more than willing to go the extra step to make their customers happy. I would recommend this shop for people looking for builds, maintenance, tunes! Great shop, great people and a professional/informative environment stepping into FIP doors. A shop like this one is hard to come by; don’t overlook them!

5 Stars all around, Jesse and Justin are great at what they do. I found them through an ad on craigslist and didn't think much. But I saw other people's reviews and decided to give them a shot. I have other tuner shops within a 10 mile radius from where I live but I am glad I chose Forced Induction Performance to get my 12 STi build done. Needed a complete rebuild. Old motor had cracked ringlands. I had a budget but we did end up going over but that was kind of my fault as my power goal was a little higher but I did kind of expect it. Jesse and Justin went over every step of the work and worked with me throughout the process. They really love what they do. The customer service here is out of this world when it comes to tuning shops. Even though they are very busy, Justin always got back to me in a timely fashion. I can't wait to start enjoying this car now and i will definitely be calling them when i go rotated. Shout out to Forced Induction Performance for a job well done and also to @CleoTuned for tuning my car!!

Had my 09 ms3 done here full run down of the motor build; picture updates, updates on parts out of stock best solution possible, always great at communicating. Overall very easy pleasing experience, great pricing and very knowledgeable. Will be the only shop I use from now on!

These guys really know their stuff! Especially with Subarus! I build old cars but don't have a lot of experience with this modern computer controlled stuff So when my daughters Turbo Baja jumped timing and bent all its valves I called my local machine shop I use for the old cars and they recommended Forced Induction. I called Justin and I liked what he had to say.I removed the engine from the Baja, brought it to Justin. He recommended and full rebuild. I wanted to keep it stock as its my daughters car that she absolutely loves it. So FA rebuilt the entire engine and we used all factory Subie parts. I really needed the engine done ASAP as this was during the winter snow and Justin got rite on it and had my engine done in a week. It's been 3 months since the rebuild and the car is running great! Faster than before, getting better mileage too! Very happy with these guys! Justin and Jesse Make you feel at home in the shop! You can just hang out there for hours as they perform high performance magic! Highly recommend!

Excellent experience, both Jesse and Justin have been super helpful in getting both mine and my friends cars repaired, their labor prices are more than reasonable. I highly recommend Forced Induction Performance to anyone looking for an upgrade.

If you are looking for a quality shop you can trust for any work this is it. My '08 STI developed rod knock and I found Justin/Jesse while searching around for quotes. The cost was reasonable and allowed me to include additional upgrades I was not initially planning on... wound up getting the engine repaired with forged internals (custom designed by them), upgraded turbo/supporting mods, etc and landed at a conservative 371whp (could have gone more). Throughout the entire process Justin sent over updates with pictures, recommendations based on my needs, tons of technical experience etc. The whole process was extremely smooth. Both of the initial oil changes showed zero issues and the car is running great. Hit one minor hiccup around 2k miles+ in when a fuel line developed a leak but they were quick to answer my call, troubleshoot and offer to help correct. After your car/build is complete you remain part of the group with Justin/Jesse... can't recommend them enough.

Justin and the crew at Forced Induction Performance did a phenomenal job on my 2006 Subaru Legacy. Replaced head gaskets, timing belt, water pump, installed new clutch, coilovers and even fixed my air conditioning and window malfunction. Fair and affordable price. Top notch communication. They throughly explain what, why and how the job needs to be done. They keep you posted throughout the job and send photos of the work being done on your vehicle all while completing the job in a timely fashion. Top notch professionalism.

I have wayyy to much good to say about this place to even put it all into words so ill keep it short. Jesse and justin are the best, plain and simple. I had recently purchased a used and most likely beat on STI from a dealership, its my dream car. Not more than 2 months after purchasing the car i get a check engine light, and a misfire code on my access port. Naturally i panicked. I called up jesse who i have known for years and he immediately told me to bring the car right over. I brought the car to him to find out that i had little to no compression in cylinder 2. UH OH! Now im really freaked out. These dudes brought in my car, diagnosed the issue, and had it fixed and back in my hands in 2 and a half days! That means motor pulled, block disassembled, components replaced, block reassembled, engine installed in TWO AND A HALF DAYS! If you know anything about cars you know how impressive that is, especially impressive if you keep in mind how busy these dudes are. I can say with 100% certainty that no other shop will ever touch my car. FIP is where its at and because of them im back driving my baby again.Thanks jesse and justin, I couldn't be happier.

These guys are great and knowledgeable! I have a sst transmission, any other shop local has to send it out these guys know what to do in-house, they saved me a lot of money, answered all my questions and concerns and really helped me out big time, if it wasn’t for them, my car would still have been siting in my driveway broken.

Great service. Brought my 06 impreza in they showed me problems that i didnt even know i had with my car and they took care of me. These guys are passionate about their craft and it shows. Love the atmosphere and the people there are great. Highly reccomended.
