We first enlisted Addie’s interior design expertise in readying our home sale. In her role as our real estate agent, we benefitted from her deep, deep knowledge of the area and her keen understanding of our taste and aspirations. We ultimately found ourselves in a bidding war and with Addie’s professionalism and negotiating skills, we were able to secure our new home. Along the way, she maintained a much needed “grace under pressure” presence that we will be eternally grateful for.

Most recently, Portledge School contracted Addie to lead the interior and exterior design elements of our new building, The Commons Building. This building houses over 23,000 sq. ft, to include a 5,000 sq. feet dining hall, classrooms, black box theatre, innovation lab and computer laboratory.

Addie was responsible for all color, finishes, lighting, safety and furniture choices throughout the whole building. She helped with the exterior stucco, patio design, and walkways. I must say that we could not have been happier with the outcome. Addie created a space that was practical, aesthetically pleasing, dynamic and warm. Our students and faculty regularly comment on how impressed they are with the facility. It is a source of pride and joy for our community.

As a working partner, Addie could not have done more for us. She dedicated countless hours in preparation and implementation. Addie understood and listened to our needs and spent a great deal of time working with all the different constituencies from the contractor to our suppliers, from the plumbers to the electricians to be sure we got the building we wanted. She was easy to work with, a good listener and cared about outcomes.
