Friendly casual vibe. Regular slice was exactly what a slice should be. Not over the top, good quality ingredients. Just a solid slice of pizza. The other specialty slices looked great. I will have to stop back in and try them.

So glad to find this legit spot.

Stopped in last week for two plain slices and a diet coke. They really have their pies down to a science. It was very tasty - as always. My wife loves their specialty slices like their Grandma pies (which is also excellent FYI) but I always judge by how well they make their regular slices. The do not disappoint!

We order pizza from this place for all our construction crews every Friday. Our guys only want the Chicken Bacon Russian pizza, which is second to none, and offers us a nice way to end the week.

The owner and the managers are good guys and flip pizzas around like its's nobody's business. Very nice guys who always make us feel at home.

We also appreciate that they don't tolerate disgusting behaviors in their restaurant, like this lady below who decided to write a bad review about them because they asked her animal husband to stop clipping his finger nails at the pizza counter.

Keep up the good work guys, and make sure we don't get any hangnails in our slices, eh?

I don't know how they do it but any time I go in there and order a buffalo chicken roll it is always so fresh.,, the chicken is tender and the portion size is great. I've had their pinwheels too, spinach is my favorite .. Glad this local pizzeria is here it's a weekly go to for me

If you're looking for a real New York pizza, come here. I'm there at least once a week. They got the flavor of the sauce just to my liking. I'm a guy who usually gives my crust to the dogs, but this place makes the crust thin enough that I find myself eating the whole thing. My dogs don't like that. Lately I've been getting their person 10" pizza with a drink and the cost is very fair. Sometimes I get their eggplant parm pizza which is also great. Whatever I get, it never costs much, and I always walk out full and happy with the flavor, so this place is my go-to when I have that pizza craving.

Villa Meci Pizzeria Glen Cove is one of Long Island Pizza's best kept secrets. Today was my 3rd time eating here this week!! I tried their Chicken Parmesan today. On top of how delicious it was, the portion was very generous. My other two visits this week I tried their regular and buffalo slices. They are both amazing. The Pizzeria has a nice and clean, modern look to it, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. I look forward to trying more of their creative specialty slices over the next few weeks.

I really wanted to come on here to say how amazing the Bacon chicken Ranch slice was I had yesterday.... But after reading the review below, I don't know whether to laugh or be deeply concerned with the state of our society. I can kind of understand the need for a sign like this on the subway but never could imagine we've reached the point in society where we need it in a food establishment. To the lady below, I don't care how old your husband is, or how intolerable this life threatening hangnail was that required immediate removal. It's absolutely disgusting that you would feel the need to cut your nails in someone's place of business. Let alone one that serves food to the public. It's equally disturbing that you found the need to go out of your way to trash the person's business on the internet because he said something to you. This place has been the best pizza in the area from day 1 and I've yet to meet any worker that has ever been anything but respectful to me and my family. I'm glad the man said something. I wish more places would to those that still believe "the customer is always right". Oh and I work in construction too... my hands hurt too... I'll let you guess how many times I brought my cuticle cutter to a restaurant with me. You can enjoy the B rated pizza up the block... make sure to ask for the hangnail topping. What a ridiculous post!!!

Villa Meci has excellent food, friendly staff and great service. Their grandma slice is my favorite. I'm from Brooklyn and I strongly believe Villa Meci's pizza is better than most Brooklyn pizza these days. I recently catered a birthday party with their food: The chicken parm, linguine with white clam sauce, and sausage and peppers were standouts.

I typically don't leave reviews but felt compelled to write a good one after stumbling upon an unreasonably negative one by a curmudgeon named Lindy Pinzon. I realized she's only twice reviewed businesses, and both reviews were negative. She thought the pizza was good enough to say it's OK in her reviews, but was unhappy overall because her husband was asked to stop clipping his nails in the restaurant. Sweetheart, if your husband knew what to do and what not to do—as you claim he does—, then he wouldn't have been clipping his nails in a restaurant in the first place.

On behalf of this happy customer and I'm sure a multitude of others, THANK YOU, VILLA MECI, for the past few years of great food and hospitality at this friendly neighborhood joint. And thank you, too, for keeping hang nails off the toppings menu!

Villa Meci's pizza is great but I will never leave without their cinnamon sugar knots. So delicious and my family loves them too! The owner is always gracious and nice which is much appreciated!

My kids and I went to Villa Meci for the first time a few nights ago. The pizza was excellent and the portion sizes of the dishes were much bigger than expected. Chicken parm was my favorite and my wife loved the Villa Meci salad. Will be ordering from them again soon!

Me and my husband went to Vila Meci for the first time today after hearing about it from my friends. I have to say the chicken roll and spinach pinwheel were the best I ever had! Definitely will be coming back here.

We didn't expect more than a regular pizza place when ordering, but we were pleasantly surprised after eating. My husband and I got mozz sticks (homemade) eggplant meatballs and a chicken parm dinner with penne. Plenty of food for two and at a really good price. I think we found our new Italian dinner night spot :)

Top quality food and excellent service, I never write reviews but the food was so good I can’t help but share! Only had the buffalo slice and it’s the best one in town hands down!!! Can’t wait to try the whole menu! Lol

We've been waiting a long time for an awesome pizza spot in Glen Cove and we finally have it. My kids especially love the bacon mac n cheese slice

I've only just recently become a huge pizza fan (crazy, I know), and this place definitely does not disappoint! Definitely above average and will be returning for more.
