Had a great fresh panini for lunch at Vito's

I like to call Vito’s Ristorante and Pizzeria “home” for several reasons. The food, hospitality and service make you feel like you are sitting in your own dining room.

We’ve been coming to Vito’s for years now and the food is always fresh, delicious and creative. Angela shares her recipes from her hometown in Sicily and we always look forward to something new on the daily special menu. The prices are great for the amount of food you get…there’s always plenty and I take home my leftovers for another meal.

My favorite is the Chicken Sorrentino with red sauce…moist, tender chicken with thin slices of eggplant and prosciutto. Most recently my husband ordered the Chicken Daniela over Broccoli Rabe with shrimp, thinly sliced fried potatoes with lemon wine sauce. All entrées are served with either pasta and your choice of sauce or salad. Order the salad with the house dressing…it is to die for and a secret recipe. I’ve tried to copy it but just can’t seem to get it right!

You can’t go wrong with ordering anything from the menu…seriously. The pizza is crispy and delicious. We especially like the Grandma pie with its thin, crispy crust. Owner Mario (married to Angela) really knows how to make a pizza and is definitely the best around. Their son Vito manages the restaurant and does a great job.

Vito’s is a real asset to Glen Cove and a stand out amongst all the other Italian restaurants and pizzerias. They won the 2019 Best of Long Island in 5 categories for Wings, Mussels, Spinach Pie & Sausage & Pepper Sandwich as well as Best Dinner Deal. Every Tuesday is pasta night and you’ll get your choice of five or six different pastas, soup or salad and dessert and coffee for $12. Get there early as tables fill up fast.

If you haven’t tried Vito’s, you don’t know what you’re missing…trust me. I look forward to returning there week after week.

The best pizza place in GlenCove ! Vito is the nicest , and so is all is staff. He goes above and beyond for anything you need . Amazing place for birthdays too. Food is outstanding and they are so creative and laid back. BEST PIZZA IN GLENCOVE HANDS DOWN :)

Pizza and Italian dishes were delicious. Tasty Garlic Knots, Grandma Pie, Grandma, Meatballs, Baked Ziti, Antipasto, Buffalo Chicken, Sicilian, Fried Calamari Marinara and Spinach Pie.

Best pizza around! The pizza is consistently great. My parents moved to Glen Cove 2 years ago. My father who is the pickiest person and very critical , is always in search of the perfect pizza. We decided to give Vito's a try and found the perfect pizzeria. We have never been disappointed nor will you. We highly recommend Vito's. The staff is friendly and very accommodating too. Great pizza, food and people all around.

Came in today to check this place out as I just moved here. The staff were in such good spirits and all very friendly and the food was amazing! I recommend the stuffed garlic knots also I’ve never had a better Chicken Caesar Salad slice in my life it was amazing!! I will definitely be returning!

I had the penne Primavera and my friend had the flounder francese both entrees were mouth watering delicious. I ordered takeout the service was quick and friendly.

These people are great. First, their pizza is the best in town, hands down. Next, I was just in a car accident on the way to collect my pizza, so I called to tell them that I'd have to pay for it the following day. The quickly assured me that I need not worry about it and that they hoped I was OK. I'm not an extremely regular customer, so it's not like they knew who they were speaking with. Really stand up people. The kind of local business people you're happy to support. Thank you!

This is my family's go-to spot for Friday night pizza! There are many pizza options in Glen Cove, but I think this one is the best. The staff are friendly and listen to your order carefully and make sure to give you exactly what you want. When it comes to pizza, my family is SUPER particular about the sauce and dough and Vito's has continuously stayed our #1 spot! Their specialty slices are also pretty good, and I especially love their grandma pie.

The food is amazing. Like the best around. They win something from Best of Long Island every year. Staff is friendly. Family owned an operated. Always at least 2 owners floating around. They always donate and give back to the community. Delivery to Bayville which is a home run for us. I would give 6 stars if I could.

The best pizza in Glen Cove NY!

Pizza was so yummy and cheesey. But, the next visit, the crust was too hard, very disappointing. Went again, pizza was on point, straight 5 star. Went again ordered stuff shells, completely watery, blah. Friends ordered pizza slices with different toppings pepperoni, mushrooms, white pizza and grand mother. All were happy. Vito's not always consistent. But, when they are it's 10 star moment.

We've eaten here regularly for about a year now. Great service, friendly staff, reasonable prices and delicious food. Tuesday pasta nights are a real value. Try the Puttanesca sauce. Wonderful.

I wanted to thank Vito, Friday afternoon I ask him if he could provide 8 trays for a Saturday noon memorial service. He delivered the goods with 5 stars. Food was great. He came through last minute. Thank you

I love their salad, pizza and any of their sandwiches. They are high standard in taste for me. Would definitely recommend. Good for take out and dine in.
