Forest Avenue Pizza

Thought I as going just into a local pizza place in glen cove . Wife and I wanted to have a meal there .ordered baked clams , entrees, chicken and eggplant dish . Tasted and my taste buds woke up . This so called pizza place is now my go too Italian restaurant. Service and food above par . I will take this 8 miles drive every week to enjoy a fair , tasty , delicious food restaurant all day long thanks forest pizza and family restaurant . See you real soon

Who knew?? Best pizza by far. Where V pizza dough is too hard, Forest is too soft. But, the taste, the flavor, more than makes up for it. So cheesy and flavorful. Did I mention the size of the slice. It's so big, it's huge. Two people can eat one slice. When you bite into it, you can't help but say to yourself, they don't make pizza like this anymore. I remember seeing a coupon in the paper. I can't recall the details. But, go get it if you see it, this pizza is delicious, the aroma is like, wow, just go get a pie, your friends, family and stomach will thank you for it, so yummy.

Glen Cove, NY, has several good Italian restaurants, but Forest Avenue Pizza stands out to be really authentic. Why do I say that everyone who works there is an Italian American and they make food the way they like to eat, awesome place. Last 🌙 I had, Chicken Marsala and I really sat and savored it. They also offer Tue night specials at a reasonable $$. Closed Mondays. Go and give it a go! Great food all around.

A great place to grab a slice of delicious pizza! They have so many options it was hard to choose just one! They have a nice outdoor seating area and plenty of seating inside as well!

While I personally think their slices are a bit to cheesy, the atmosphere and service by Forest Pizza is impeccable. Family owned, they know how to make a good pie. I don't enjoy the garlic bread, but I don't enjoy most garlic bread. Go here to eat.

Family is warm and friendly coupled with fresh home style dishes. The Tuesday night pasta special is the best bargain in LI and it tastes delicious with fresh salad and baked bread. I have tasted grandma’s pizza all over Glen Cove and LI and their’s wins first prize! Enjoy!

Just ordered for the first time. Ordered my benchmark meal to test the mettle of a pizza restaurant. Veal Parm.Hero. 10/10 stars. Super delicious. A TON of veal. No tough baseball-mitt pieces. Great sauce, tons of cheese. PIPING HOT on delivery. (Tear-INV up). F&ck@n DELICIOUS!

The people that work here are really nice.
I love the stuffed meat pizza. They have really good garlic knots they need to make them a little bit bigger.

Love the pizza. The only thing I could pick on is the quality of the garlic nut. Sometimes they are really fresh and sometime I have to throw the whole bag out. But the pizza is amazing. Personally I like it crispy.

I've been going to Forest Pizza since '94, it only gets better!
