In my opinion probably the best memorial in DC, the way history is portrayed with the sculptures is breathtaking. Tribute to Roosevelt but also his wife Eleanor and his dog, amazing experience.

A very underrated monument to FDR and his wife, a lovely walk secluded alongside the basin. The statues and quotes associated with FDR are well displayed without being ostentatious. We returned to the monument several times. The shop was small but impressive, the staff were nice. The best way to reach this monument if you don't like walking is to use the Circulator bus and get off at either the Jefferson Memorial or the MLK memorial stop. This is worth a visit.

Love the statue! Worth visiting. The area is so lovely and it’s exciting to visit when there are so many people from across the world who are there for a similar reason.
