Thomas Jefferson Memorial Bookstore

The Jefferson Memorial is visited less frequently than the Lincoln Memorial as it’s tucked away from the main part of the mall. It never disappoints as he was the main author of the Declaration of Independence, which is engraved on the walls surrounding his statue. Unfortunately, the store is temporarily closed due to construction. It was too cold to take a picture otherwise I would have included it here.

Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a must see along with walking from Capital Hill to Lincoln Memorial and visiting all other Memorials. I Shared only a few photos of our walk.

I bought a magnet similar to this one but i lost it on the trip. I think it wasnt in this exactly store but the one on the opposite side, next to the womans bathroom. I want to buy it back so desperetaly!!! Does anyone knows the name of the store? Do they have a website or phone number? Please, help me!!! 🥺

The bookstore at the Jefferson memorial can be a bit hard to find. Apparently they are doing some reconstruction work and the bookstore should go back downstairs to its normal location. During construction it is on the rotunda it's just on the other door not the elevators to the basement and museum. The bookstore is small but it carries a fairly wide selection of Washington trinkets as well as some really neat stuff specifically about Jefferson and the Jefferson memorial. They do have quill pens!

There’s a small museum with exhibits about Thomas Jefferson and his legacy, a gift shop, bathrooms and water fountains below the Jefferson Memorial. You can also get your National Park Passport stamped here. The museum has some interesting information about Thomas Jefferson’s life and his time as president. It’s a also a nice place to escape from the elements.

Small gift shop but the merch is on point. It's at the lower level of the memorial, in a temperature controlled setting, making it an ideal place to retreat from some of the harshest winter or summer weather in the city.

워싱턴DC의 도시구조와 역사를 탐험을 떠난게 몇일이 되었는지 이젠 기억도 안나지만...^^

미국의 역대 대통령 기념관과 워싱턴 모뉴먼트를 중심으로 한 직교, 방사형의 도로를 따라 멋진 체험들을 해나가고 있다.

이틀전에는 토마스 제퍼슨 메모리얼에서 화이트하우스를 바라보기도 했다. 그리고 제퍼슨의 업적과 함께 그의 메시지도 함께 읽어보기도 했다.

그냥 올수 없어 기념품 샵에 들러 작은 기념품도 구매하고 왔다. 기념품샵 입구에는 내셔널몰 방문을 기념할 수 있는 스탬프 찍는 코너도 있어서 그냥 지나칠 수 없었지!!!ㅋㅋㅋ

Uno de los monumentos más hermosos de Washington DC, tiene una excelente arquitectura y la vista perfecta.

I love that these memorials all have bookstores. It was pretty good too, on a cold winter's day, to be able to duck in briefly and have some respite from the freezing air. Great selection of books and souvenirs in a relatively small space; always good to support the National Marks and the monuments as well.
