Wilson Boat House Restaurant

Had the pleasure of using the transient boat slip for a few days. Great service from the day the dock hand helped us dock and the bartenders and wait staff where awesome. The outside patio with the music line up gives you that your on vacation feel. They have a tiki bar on the water. Five Coconuts Bar. We had a group of friends meet us for dinner on the patio service was excellent and food was top notch. Will be back.

This is a great place to go for a summer meal. You can watch the boats head out to to lake while enjoying an amazing atmosphere. The waitress we had was like "extra" nice. If you visit Niagara Falls, you might want to include this as a stop when you visit. I loved it.

The dining rooms are beautiful. Camenfor a concert and it was a very pleasant time. Cannot wait to come back and dine. The outdoor seating is great as well.

First I want to say that we had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful restaurant, the phenomenal service and friendly faces. We were seated immediately and upon being seated was also immediately served a large cold glass of water. So glad to see a restaurant that serves water right away. That doesnt happen anymore. We placed our order and was served our meal within a few minutes. We got the broiled fish, macaroni and cheese and cole slaw. It was delicious and a wonderful meal. We're still talking about how much we enjoyed our meal, the service and friendly staff. We'll definately be back.

Food was really good. Service was fantastic! Just a little pricey. I probably won't be back soon due to the prices.

Great variety for their lunch menu. Food was prepared very well and tasted great. Lunch for 5 came to $88, so a little on the pricey side. Update ...as I think about it, that's actually pretty good as price goes. Maybe because everything has gone up lately.

Made reservations online, which was convenient. Service was prompt. Food was good and prices are reasonable. Nice little public park for viewing the lake directly across the street.

Came for Sunday brunch, which was delicious. It was quiet and the view is perfect . sat outside on the deck on a perfect summer day, plenty of shade so you don't have to get burnt to a crisp. Drinks here are always generous, one of the best daiquiris I've had! Some menu choices were not available, but the chicken sandwich on a biscuit with bacon and gravy was perfect.

Great place for a quick meal or dinner type meal. Beautiful setting. Staff is friendly and mostly local which is nice. Drinks were spot on. Highly recommend.

The food is Amazing here! I got the beer battered fish fry, it was huge! My boyfriend got the scallops; I tried one, they were delicious 😋 The decor is lovely, the restaurant is simply beautiful, I love it. We will definitely be going back.

We had dinner here last night and it was great. Ashley was our waitress and she was amazing. Very courteous and took care all of our needs quickly with a smile. The food was delicious and the portions were sizable. Looking forward to eating here again & I will definitely request Ashley.

Nice dockside dinner. Calamari, turkey triple, mahi mahi tacos all great! Friendly service and great drinks.

My mom and I love this place. We go several times every year. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very friendly. I’ve read some of the poor reviews and it sounds like a different place. I’ve never had other than a great experience. We are going next week and can’t wait!!!

I could go on and on about this amazing marina..... the rooms are very clean and freshly renovated. Dillon, Mark, and Bob are great people and always accommodating when we need a boat slip. The restaurant menu has been updated too...service is great. A must when visiting the Great Lake O!!!

Had beer battered fish fry and it was done perfectly. Large piece of plump and flaky fish with a just-the-right-amount of crisp on the outside. I'm a tartar sauce guy and really didnt need it. Kids and wife were also happy with their meal and staff is super friendly and attentive. Will come again.

My niece and I went fir dinner on a Saturday night. I made reservations for 6:00 and asked about outside seating. She said she couldn't guarantee that. When we got there, we got a great table outside where there was a nice breeze. The service was very very good and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. I will be back very soon.

Food was exceptional! I had the haddock sandwich and sweet potato fries, and hubby had the clam chowder soup and a salad. We sat on the outdoor deck and enjoyed the view. Really can't think of a negative or critical thing to say about this place!

Fun spot. The food was good as were the drinks. Lively place, with entertainment. The band playing while we were there was really good. Nice to sit outside in a covered area with view of the marina. It was recommended to make reservations for dinner so we did do that.

Great food, very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back! Most restaurants we feel like we make better food at home, but the crab stuffed Haddock was fabulous!

08/11/2022* update-since I reviewed this posting in summer 2018, a big kudos to the new owners carrying on in a similar fashion, with some subtle menu variations.

Views of sunsets, sailboats and tastefully prepared dishes.

My date had the *seafood pasta with ( 4 ) each of: succulent clams, jumbo shrimp, and scallops (with a perfect sear), in a light wine sauce which tasted like heaven)- on our last visit I had rib eye as on a previous visit ( well a shaved ribeye sandwich to go which is not on the menu now, there is an excellent Pot Roast Sandwich- definitely you will feel fulfilled . Yummy

*I wish they could bring back this particular seafood pasta dish however, this time (she) had fish tacos and they were out of this world tasty, as was the summer night we were enjoying, not too hard to handle and tempting our palate system, nonetheless.

Alight with live music outside, seating inside is insulated from most of the music, comfortable for family, friends and/or lovers.
We sat/stood outside for the music at a two top table, which have bar stools. There is also an outside bar and an inside bar. Fully stocked!

Whether dancing you calories off or indulging in one of many desserts, perhaps you too, will place your summer get-away plans with this unique establishment.

For take away we ordered sweet potato fries and, they never would have made it home If it weren't for the stuffed banana peppers, out of this world delicious, the stuffing and blistering of the pepper skin which releases the flavor... wow!

I can't speak enough of how attentive the staff was. Never hovering. The manager is is doing a fantastic job overall. Kudos to this person!

The inside/out of this restaurant is cozy and inviting with a nautical, but streamlined theme throughout.

I have spent many memorable nights in Wilson.
I would always advise calling ahead if
one has questions.
(They're well staffed and well versed in the Locale/surrounding areas)
