Great food! Loved the addition of fresh fruit, even as a garnish it made for a palate cleanser. Home fries were great. Atmosphere really felt like a small town family restaurant, and one who lives in a small town I know the feeling well.

You must come and eat here. It was the best breakfast of our trip. I asked the chef to please come out to tell him how much I enjoyed his creation. The whole table of 14 applauded him. The people who work there are so nice and accommodating. They were able to seat our large party without batting an eyelash.

Tasty and flavorful food that is also beautifully presented. The menu is not extensive and centers around scrambled eggs/omelets. Very nice place, run by a sweet and courteous pair. A little pricier than the next door Downtown Diner.

The Flaming rooster was delicious but it should come with a side of home fries by default.

But don't come before 8 am. Despite posted hours online, they do not open before then. We tried around 7:10 on Thursday and at 8:00 on Saturday. They were closed on Thursday with no one inside and were just opening on Saturday at 8.

Great breakfast spot! Comfortable casual atmosphere and our food was perfect! Lots of vegetarian options. I was impressed with the food plating also!

Woww! Outstanding. Fresh. Delicious. I esp loved loved home fries, they were perfectly cooked, slight crispy with a bit of spice. Perfection if you dip in ketchup. I wanted the entire plate of it alone. Thank YOU!!!!! Amazing 100/10

Great breakfast place! Very hearty simple food. Menu isn’t too long but all their dishes are top quality. I got the lake placid which was very good with the cream cheese stuffed. English muffin egg sandwich was also fresh and delicious.
Very cute old school diner vibes.
Priced very well for a popular town however beware you get charged for the (subpar) coffee refills which you don’t ask for.

Appreciate the warm atmosphere here – dog-friendly (chef personally brought our dog a complementary bacon and water bowl), server was attentative and welcoming, music was at the perfect volume with a nice soundtrack. Most importantly, the food was amazing. My spouse is the breakfast person, not me, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I would be eating breakfast all the time if we had this restaurant nearby home. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Great breakfast spot! Got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and it was delicious!! The restaurant was cozy and cute too. Our service could have been a little bit better but overall, very nice.

We loved this place, totally recommend it! I had the scrambled eggs with toast and corned beef hash — super simple but lovely prepared, very tasty, especially the hash! My husband had the flapjacks and they were just as lovely. All plates came decorated with fresh fruits so you also get that bite of something fresh to finish the meal. Staff was super friendly and efficient.

This is an amazing little establishment. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very warm and welcoming. This will be a place we dine at every time we visit Lake Placid. Cannot recommend enough!!!

If u want to eat some tasty breakfast this place is for u . Not to many breakfast places in Lake placid but this one is definitely worth to step in.

Just had breakfast there today. I can't believe I've never been there in all the years I've come to LP (I'm a semi-resident). The menu is simple, but good. The restaurant is clean and tidy. I'll be sure to go back. I hope they stay in business. Please support the local businesses.

Breakfast was delicious, with good variety. The service was prompt and attentive and everything came out warm amd fresh.

The ONLY breakfast spot you need to hit when you’re in Lake Placid. Hands down the best Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich I’ve had. Jeannine was our server. She’s incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Also, big shoutout to chef Greg. Not only is the food fantastic, but the presentation is phenomenal. Thanks!

This place is great!!! The food is delicious the service is friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere as well! I got brunch here and it was quick and easy! I would highly recommend you eat here!

I got the butterscotch pancakes. They were amazing. Love how all the flapjacks come with real maple syrup.

Beyond excellent food and service. I went early on a holiday and they were almost empty, otherwise I hear they can be quite busy. The flapjacks are delicious! Hope this helps!

Very nice restaurant. Great food and service. Small place, only eight tables and service at a counter, but very cozy place. Interior is all woodwork. Credit card machine was down, cash only,. We only ate out at two restaurants in Lake Placid in the past 3 days, on opposite sides of town, and by chance had the same waitress. Seems like she's one of the few people in America that wants to work. And she does it with a smile.
