Lisa did a great job on my bouquet for my fall wedding! I sent her inspiration photos of what I was looking for and she did a wonderful job at creating something similar. It was beautiful!

I called and spoke with Lisa about ordering and delivering some lilies over to whiteface lodge for my room. I only wanted lilies that were open and already producing aroma.
Lisa did one hell of a job. She listened, she put together a lovely bouquet and delivered in time for me to arrive. My suite smelled, intoxicating with lilies. Calming, relaxing and pleasant!

As someone who values flowers and their beauty, these flowers are exceptionally beautiful.

We worked with the Lake Placid Flower and Gift Shop for our elopement at the Mirror Lake Inn. As we live in New York City, we were only able to work with them through email and over the phone. We provided them with a few examples of the bouquet size we wanted and a Pinterest board of the sorts of bouquets we liked (we wanted autumnal flowers with no roses). We were blown away when we saw the flowers on our elopement day. They were exactly what we wanted! We were sad that we couldn't take them back with us to NYC. The prices were about on par for a premium florist (budget-minded folks can also check with the Lake Placid Price Chopper, which apparently has a solid florist).

Highly recommend - we had a wedding on very short notice and Lisa was able to fit us in with a drop off of flowers. I gave little guidance on the flowers except fall colors & similar to my mom's bouquet (tear drop) and WOW they turned out absolutely perfectly - better than I could have imagined! The colors in the bouquet were gorgeous, she tied in beautiful fall flowers with dark purple and some more muted tones while also including the red roses from my mom's original bouquet. She was on time and super kind and helpful. The boutonnieres were so tasteful. I can't thank you enough for making our special day even more perfect. Loved the flowers and really appreciate you!!

Lake Placid Florist created the most stunning bouquet of flowers for my daughters birthday. She loves them! The delivery was prompt and the shop listened to what I was looking for (worked with someone named Jen). I cannot recommend them highly enough - so pleased!

I was in need of same day delivery for birthday flowers for my sister. Even though I called a few hours past their needed time for same day delivery, they still made it happen! I gave them a budget and what they created was absolutely stunning and made my sister who was working all day, feel extremely loved. I called Lake Placid Flower and Gift shop this morning when I found out that both my Dad and my brother-in-law were in the same hospital and my goal was to send flowers to both of them to brighten their day. A gentleman answered the phone, took my contact information and told me she would call me right back. I had learned minutes before that all the florists in the Tri-Lakes region were overloaded with weddings and funerals so I wasn't sure I would actually get a call back. To my great pleasure and surprise, I got a call back within minutes from Lisa! I explained the situation and what I wanted and she told me she could help but the flowers would be delivered in the later afternoon today....and I was fine with that. Lo and behold.....I got a text from my sister at 2:00 this afternoon with a picture of my Dad, who was very happy and holding the greeting card we had sent with it and the beautiful bouquet of flowers were beside him on the table.
We are so very happy with the prompt and efficient service and follow-through we got from Lisa and LPF&G that we just can't say enough good things!!!! Lisa made my vision of simplicity come to life! She worked with me and my planner to make simple yet beautiful floral arrangements and they could not have been more perfect! Everything was delivered on time, if not earlier, the day of our wedding and when our planner ran out greens for our tables she quickly replenished. The flowers for my son’s wedding this past week we’re nothing short of spectacular. Lisa and her talented staff went above and beyond in creating a magical day for all of us. Even the photographer took me aside to comment on the flowers. They were breathtaking.

We worked with Lisa for our flowers for our Welcome Party and they turned out to be amazing! She worked well within our budget, she's very responsive, friendly, and creative. We gave her a color scheme and let her run with it and everything was beyond our expectations! She did a wonderful job and we couldn't have been happier!

We celebrated our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary July 2013. The flowers from Lake Placid Flowers & Gifts were so perfect. They were able to recreate the flower arrangement from our parents wedding from a photo I sent them. Mom and Dad were amazed at the detail! Liz and Susan were wonderful to work with in planning the arrangements for our dinner table and the corsages for our parents.

Our wedding flowers completely exceeded our expectations. My wife gave a general idea of what she wanted and they just ran with the idea to create bouquets and boutonnieres that we could not have been happier with. Completely unique and definitely had a local influence. And it was less expensive than we had expected it to be! Price was very fair.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. My wedding flowers and vendor were absolutely gorgeous because of this vendor, and my experience was the absolute BEST from start to finish. Beautiful flowers, personable staff, flexibility, and they definitely went above and beyond. The owner even provided suggestions to other local vendors as well, which was so helpful. Highly recommended!! They are the best in town by far!

I have been very happy with Lake Placid Flower + Gifts! I buy a bouquet of flowers often for my shop window, Adirondack Foot Sanctuary in downtown Lake Placid + the arrangements always are beautiful and pretty! They are professional, creative, and affordable. We all benefit on so many levels + improve the local economy when you shop local.
