The Good Bite Kitchen

A much needed establishment for LP. The owners have a grip on ingredients and fun flavor profiles. It’s a refreshing break from all the wing/pizza/burger menus around town. Both the fresh and frozen options have been truly satisfying. Excited to see them push their flavor limits more over time to introduce people to new types of food.

stopped in here on a wim, and do not regret it at all! got two “ready to eat” options, a soup and a bowl to go and a frozen soup to heat up at home. LOVED it, great ingredients and healthy while still being packed with flavor! would love to go back when we’re in the area again

This place is unique. If you get a chance must stop here for breakfast. Good vegan options and though it is small but very unique interior. Food was awesome too. Thanks to the ladies who works there. Highly recommended.

Fantastic light lunch and frozen take away spot - "picnic basket" 🧺 with gazpacho, onion tartlets, beet salad, and cheese cake galette was an amazingly perfect lunch for two. Will definitely frequent!

Very good for a quick lunch. (I had the warm stew and it was filling and so tasty.) All vegetarian menu and has many GF and V options.

Food was delicious! One of the few places with vegan options!! The outdoor seating in the garden is very cute.

Super tiny - 6 seats. If you need this delicious food, be prepared to do a take-out. Fortunately today at -5 outside, seats were available and the food was the best I've eaten in Lake Placid in over 40 years of visiting once a year. I'm vegetarian, so am speaking from my perspective. Many choices on the chalk board, just inside the door. Can't wait for my next opportunity to choose something different.

This place is very hard to notice. It doesn't stand out. I was passing by for three days without knowing it is there. Then my wife somehow noticed it and we went there for a lunch. Now I wish I have noticed it earlier. It's an amazing place. It's small inside but the food is super delicious. I has a black bean soup, kale Cesar salad and energy balls :) as a desert. Everything was very-very tasty. I was surprised how such simple and regular foods can be so unusually tasty. I definitely recommended you to try this place. It is fairly cheap and people there are very nice. I'm not a vegetarian and i would definitely go here again.

This place changed my life! After reading much about the health benefits of eating vegetarian, I could not have pulled off the change without Kayte and the amazing food at The Good Bite. I found food that is truly awesome,; completely forgetting that it is healthy and vegetarian. Thank you Kayte.

This tiny place with only about 1/2 a dozen counter-seats (so mainly take-out) offers wonderful healthy food big on flavour. The vegan options the day we were there were absolutely delicious!

I really, really miss this place! The food is simply exceptional! I used to be a regular, and then we moved cross country. If you haven't already, please give this place a try! You will walk away with a happy nourished belly and a smiling heart 😊

Wonderful vegetarian food, super tasty, great portions, very innovative combinations. We will definitely be going there again. Highly, highly recommended regardless if you are a vegetarian or not.

This is my favorite spot on Main St! They always use super fresh, local veggies and the favor combos are very creative. The earl grey lavender latte is my favorite!!

The Kale salad & sandwich are amazing. The best veggie sandwich I ever had. There are 2 things about Lake placid I would come for again; the scenic beauty & sandwich at the good bite kitchen.

Traveling with family and hard to find a meal with fresh veggies. So glad I found this place. I had the perfectly portioned "bowl" with delicious maple chipotle dressing.

Fun spot for ToGo frozen vegetarian meals ( think casseroles, dips, soups, curries) and kitchen wear ( think cute potholders, serving plates, spoon holders, beeswax wraps, reusable utensils).
