Mc Lean's Family Restaurant

Was in the area to inventory the Dollar General across the street and stopped in on my lunch break. Fish burger was phenomenal and so were the mozzarella sticks. Interior was extremely charming but it was a bit crowded so I got my order to go and ate at one of the tables outside. Will definitely keep in mind for if I'm ever anywhere nearby again!

McLean's looks like every other hometown diner, however the food is fabulous, the wait staff is professional and on point! My favorite thing about McLean's...anything on the menu...ALL DAY LONG!!! So, cheeseburger sliders for me for breakfast with the best cuppa decaf coffee I've ever had in a diner! Although I was too full for dessert, the pineapple upside-down cake and strawberry shortcake looked yummy. McLean's did not disappoint!!!

Stopped for breakfast to fuel up before our extreme active day ahead. Food hit the spot, service was great, place was clean and owners were friendly. I would definitely visit again if up in this northern part of NYS. Thank you for a great experience!

The food was good and the service was relatively fast and staff was friendly. The walls are covered in funny signs which make for a good environment.

A real home cooked meal at a affordable price. Opens early to catch the ferry.

Super nice, friendly, attentive, courteous staff. They made us feel like we were old friends and regular customers, even though we had only been there a couple times. The restaurant was cozy and clean. The coffee was excellent. We had some scrumptious breakfasts and a very nice dinner, I just had to order a Michigan to find out what it was. I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful place. Lastly and most importantly: the pies were out of this world!!!!!!

Great food great atmosphere. Friendly family owned restaurant. A hidden busy little gem in the Adirondacks. A must stop to relax and refuel and enjoy! The homemade bread is delicious.....

We stopped in on a rainy labor Day morning and had each ordered breakfast, four of us in total.
Eggs and hash delicious,eggs cooked to perfect medium as requested.
Blueberry pancakes, real blueberries yummy.
Home fries were tasty.
Our waitress even asked if we liked our bacon crispy or chewy. I mean come on, is that detail oriented service or what?

the menu was not expensive but we had they did him very well service was very nice price was very very reasonable.

One of the best places around. We usually go there on Sunday after church for lunch. The staff is excellent and very friendly. Nothing fancy..No linen table clothes and napkins. But it has all the important things......good food, great friendly service, clean and homey atmosphere. The homemade deserts are awesome. My husband's favorite is their strawberry shortcake. Personally, I think they have the best carrot cake I have ever had.

Just had to get on Google to give this place 5 stars! I went there after a day of xc-skiing, and I thought I would get their special, which was the perch fry. It wasn't very busy at the time, but I've had slower service at a Taco Bell! The waitress brought out my food extremely quickly, there was a lot of it, and it was tasty! (There was a mountain of french fries on the plate, which was very satisfying). Prices were very good, the atmosphere was friendly, and though I've only been there once, I see how you can quickly get to being a regular there. If only I lived closer!

Stopped by for a late lunch. Glad we did. Home cooking with home made deserts. Cakes, pies, and much more. For a small place was very pleasantly surprised with menu options. Friendly service and dinner for Two with two beers and deserts under $30. (Tip not included). Definitely a place we will return.

I liked it because it was exactly what it was supposed to be,,, GOOD FAMILY FOOD ! ... The open-faced meatloaf dinner was excellent! ... Nice country atmosphere, friendly folks and good food... Don't change a thing, real people appreciate it....

I have been there good food service was quick. Love their fried mushrooms and you get a good sized order.

Random pit-stop for breakfast here turned out to be a nice surprise. Good breakfast and kind service. Could use a little maintenance for cleanliness. 5 stars for the food and quaint diner experience.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in recent memory and housemade iced tea which may seem insignificant but to me was a deal sealer :) Homemade bread pudding for dessert plus a full list of other homemade treats. Attentive, sweet staff was an added bonus. Just good ol home cooking down the street from one of the wonders of the natural world (IMO), Ausable Chasm...

Best BLT because of the delicious homemade bread and absolutely some of the best cake I've ever had (yellow with chocolate icing or chocolate with white icing are my favorites). I'd highly recommend!

I cannot remember ever being disappointed with breakfast there... I have been visiting this location on and off for over 20 years, and I'm happy to say the quality hasn't changed.

Staff was very friendly and food was good. They took the time to accommodate my food health issue as well which was appreciated.

Wonderful little restaurant! Had the goulash and it was Awesomeness!!! Great people and quick service! Love this place😁😁
