We had an issue with an old shut off valve for a sink that wasn't working and my husband couldn't seal it off temporarily so we had to shut off water to the whole house. Eric came over within an hour of contact, did great work and we recommend him completely. We just bought our house and have other work to do there as we renovate two bathrooms and he will be our go to plumber.

These guys were referred to me by a local septic company. I called said he would be here the morning at a certain time, showed up at that time and went straight to work and got the job done. Any plumbing issues that are beyond your expertise give this man a call.

Eric has helped us out multiple times in our 'new' (very old!) home. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and very responsive to my (many) questions - fully explaining what needs to be done and why. Most recently he replaced some very old rusted pipes and absolutely saved us from a plumbing disaster waiting to happen. I highly recommend.

I was referred to Mike by my Septic guy because I needed some specialty work done. After a nice meeting, a review of a bunch of work I need done, some great suggestions, and some reasonable quotes... On Tuesday of this week Mike said he'd be out to install my new hot water heater on Friday or Saturday. He said he'd let me know AHEAD of time which day.

At noon on that Friday he calls and says he was ON HIS WAY. I was out to lunch, like most people do at noon. LOL I let him know that I was not sure when I'd be home as I was waiting for tire work do be done, but I'd call him AS SOON AS I GOT HOME. He mentioned that he had a 2 hour job to do, which was also fine. He did NOT say he was going to come right over after that job. (I was getting tires, and my tire shop only put three tires on, and I ended up having to go to another location for the 4th which took an additional hour. UGH!) I got home at 3:15 and promptly called Mike, got no answer, and no voicemail. He called me back at 3:40 and he was really upset. He asked: "WHERE WERE YOU AT 2PM?! I checked my phone and he didn't even call me at 2pm to say he was here. I dispatch to homes and businesses for work as well, and we had a SIMPLE scheduling issue. He said now he was stuck with a hot water heater. I replied that I STILL NEEDED IT installed thinking we'd just reschedule. Then he said that I would have to find someone else. UNBELIEVABLE! He doesn't accept checks or credit cards which is also unprofessional these days. That always puts up a red flag for me, and certainly I know why they do it. It is always a good idea to have a record of your purchases and services in case something goes wrong in your most valuable investment. I've had a bad day, I'm upset, and now have to start all over with someone else. I'm a reasonable person, so I was ALMOST going to offer him a chance to rectify the issue if he ever sees this... But after more though I'm not going to reward someone with my business which such a short temper. I'm going to go through Home Depot because they can somewhat hold contractors accountable. I will say that Holdbrook was great the last time I worked with them, and the energy suppliers charge way too much. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE PULL UP YOUTUBE AND DO THE JOB THEMSELVES.
