I recently bought in 6 items (5 laptops and a tablet) and just needed answers! I spoke with David or Dave the owner, and was able to get 3 out of the 6 resolved. Two of which only needed battery replacements, and one he was able to convert all data to a USB and charged $268.37. I thought he was on the up and up until I arrived back to pick up my cracked tablet and laptop and overheard him talking on the phone all about me and my situation or circumstance on the phone, to the guy I spoke with prior to coming in the store, and had the nerve to say that "I think she just wanted to waste my time". Why would I drive across town to waste his time when basically it was a waste of my time?
Had he said that it's cheaper to buy a new one than get it fixed as opposed to him saying, "I need to send it out, since I don't fix tablet", I could have been on my way. He later calls to say that it'll cost $229.00 to get the screen fixed, since the table was made in China. I feel that I was lied too, he never got an estimate, since he said, "I just told her $229.00, since she wasting my time". Had I been told the truth, I would not have been inconvenienced to leave the tablet in the beginning and waste my time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRO CITY COMPUTERS, and wish I had NEVER gone back!

I am so glad that Midwest Protech was able to be upfront, honest and resolve my issues without giving me the run around when I'm not the professional on computers AND JUST BASICALLY NEEDED ANSWERS. Next time, I suggest that you please discuss your opinions about your customers in the back room and not where they can hear you, since you never know if the one you are talking about is standing right in front of you! Very unprofessional and $268.37 was entirely too high to just pull data and convert to a USB, now that I know better from another honest tech guy! Thanks for letting me see where NOT TO GO or where NOT to recommend to others to take their equipment. Very unprofessional, dishonest and over-priced!

I called to inquire about a laptop part that I would need and also need it installed. I had everything that the man needed to EASILY find the part, basically doing this place's job. The man said he was not going to spend hours trying to find a $20 part. Okay? 1. Wouldn't you think you would have a system set up to where it wouldn't take you HOURS to find a part from a laptop I gave you the model number for and everything? 2. So the only customers you do business and the ones you can upcharge and make them out to be suckers? Terrible. Don't go here. There are other people out there who genuinely want to help and these people definitely DONT

Tried to charge me $52.00 for a used power cord for my laptop. Bought a brand new cord from Amazon and delivered for $5.99,. Guess they thought I was a sucker!!
