This church was founded in 1922. My dad, Howard Hoschar, pastored it from 1950 until 1963 when we moved away. It was thriving and busy in those years. It was placed by the denomination The Household of Faith, the doctrine based on John Wesley's teachings on the Bible. The property was owned by Mr. Beerbower who lived next door to the left and designated the property could belong to the church as long as it didn't go 2 years without services. As there have been none since 1963 in 1993 I did located the one who inherited it and intended to purchase the building and 2 acres. Family tragedy kept that from happening. This place is dear to me, and many others, and I am broken to see it so run down. There are many wonderful and happy memories of this church and its people. Karen Hoschar Lewis
