Service has greatly improved now that the lady who used to work at the Deepwater Branch is at the counter. How refreshing it is to just come in and set down my prepaid packages to scan and get a drop off receipt. No more dirty looks as soon as I walk in. No more lectures about the kind of packaging I use or if one tiny spot of tape isnt smooth. Amazing how hundreds if e commerce customers have never once complained about my packages being unsecured upon arrival. No more nasty, curt replies if I have any additional questions. No more witnessing other customers being spoken to in rude, condescending ways as I wait in line. Now the newer staff and the nice lady that recently transferred take my package, circle the survey, and wish me a good day. Going to the post office isnt an ordeal anymore.

I called to track down a package. It wasn't lost, it was just not delivered because the place was closed when they came. The employee, Carmen, went out of her way to take down my number to track the package, confirm its delivery and call me back so that I knew where it was. It wasn't anything special, just a random package, but she was so kind and helpful that it really made me feel special. I truly appreciate her kindness and willingness to go out of her way to help.

Always great service and rarely a long wait. I stop in rather frequently and usually with a bunch of packages to ship and the staff is always happy to help.

staff is helpful and always suggest the cheapest ways to ship my packages. however i often get other peoples mail and i had a package that required signature and it was delivered to the wrong address. i didnt get the package for another week and a half and i only got it because the person who signed for it later realized it was not meant for him, almost lost a $700 package

Ever since my wife and I moved into the neighborhood our packages have been delivered to my neighbors house across the street. I would suspect it’s the same driver each time. Because it happens without fail.

I went in yesterday and asked if a package was there for me. I gave the ladies the tracking number and they nicely checked. They came out and told me that unless the tracking says “received by post office,” they don’t have it. Guess what was delivered in the mail today? I have had several packages lost as soon as they get to this post office. Awful.

They promised me my package when they attempted but didnt even show up and took it to the different Apartment.

Needed to ask a simple question that wasn't on their list and I couldn't get anybody to talk to me

Never coming back here. Made passport appointments for my husband and son. When we came in the clerk was helping someone else out with the passport application. Our appointment was at 9:15, we got there at 9:20, and at 9:23 the clerk was done with the other family. I handed her the applications and after examining them she said they were from 2010. I told her I picked them up at a different post office and the clerk who works both locations was the one who gave them to me. She said I can give you new ones but our appointments are back to back and you won’t have time to apply today. We still had 15min left in our appointment! She said well you also came in late. To which I responded it d didn’t matter because she was still working with someone else and wouldn’t have seen us at 9:15 on the dot anyway! But she sent us away still. With 15min left in our appointment. And the people before us went over time so why was it different with us? Why couldn’t we stay an extra 10min to get this taken care of? I am so upset, hurt and disappointed. and then also hearing her and people in line chuckle because of my reaction (I got visibly upset). We shouldn’t have been denied our appointment.
I am never ever going back here. Shame on you.

I’ve bit my tongue long enough! I never write bad reviews, or even good reviews for that matter, but today I’ve had it. It is Saturday august 14, 2021 and as I am writing this It just turned 12:01pm. I arrived at 11:56pm according to my IPHONES CLOCK (which sets automatically when you activate one) and had ONE package to send off and according to her wrist watch it was already noon. This really began yesterday. So here it goes....I was here yesterday and arrived at 4:53pm, went in, and this particular worker proceeded to tell me I only had 5min and I told her that would be long enough. She replied, “I hope so.” I guess that was her way of saying if my things weren’t packed and ready she was going to have to kick me out?? All but one package got sent out bc I left the address in car. Do You think she allowed me to go get it? Haha yeah right. So I left. Fast forward to sat (today) I’m at a friends house ordering food for these children and I remembered I had to go to the post office. So I hopped in my car and left. Parked according to my phone at 11:56. I walked in and The ‘IN’ door was already locked. A gentleman walked out the ‘OUT’ door and said, “I don’t know.” she came running around from the back saying “no ma’am were closed.” I said, “it’s not even noon yet.” According to her watch it is and I told her she was a trip and I’m reporting her because her customer service skills need TONS OF WORK. It doesn’t matter what
Day of the week it is, or what time of the day, she is always miserable and rude to customers. I’ve seen it first hand. It’s just now that I’ve experienced it as well.
Even when she had an attitude I was always polite because I know a little bit about common courtesy. You can’t set your personal watch 5 min ahead and then claim it’s noon when it is not. An iPhones clock never lies. Not in my experience. I waited tables for 17yrs I know what it’s like to have people come in 5min before closing to eat. I had to stay, wait on them, and give them service with a smile. It usually took about an hour. This woman couldn’t give me 3mins and I wasn’t asking her to stay past her finish time at noon but even if I was would 2mins be that big of a deal? I couldn’t believe the way she was acting.This branch needs some new fresh faces or these current employees need training in customer service because they’re lacking big time. I’ll go to Salem
Post office from now own. They’re always so kind and polite there. Even if you’re running a little late.
