The Gateway Diner

This was a very lucky find for me. I spotted the sign and turned in hoping for a relaxing lunch at a nice Mom & Pop establishment. My hunch was correct.
Glancing at the Daily Specials board I saw 3 soups and a chili available. I like a good soup, what I like best is big flavor. I found it.
I asked about the Kentucky Onion Soup. The deep flavor shocked me. This Onion soup was made with PRIDE. The Chicken soup was really good also.
I ordered the Signature Burger. This is better than any Big Boy ever tasted. Fresh Ground Beef burgers with a Brioche Bun. Hand Cut fries topped this lunch...I'm still in the Diner.

What a wonderful experience. We were actually in route to eat somewhere else nearby but it looked to be way too crowded. While driving around I notice The Gateway Diner and decided to try it.
Wow. The food was great. The environment was great. The service was fantastic.
This will definitely be a new breakfast and lunch spot for us.

Awesome place! The food was soooooo good and the vibe is welcoming and friendly. I’ve been going here for over a year now and look forward to the days I can catch them open. It’s always worth the wait. They make a good day into a great day! We usually get the Gatekeeper with Side Winders(THE most delicious way to eat potatoes) and the Western burger. The desserts are divine!!

Very cute place with nice servers and tasty food. A straight up diner with no frills and good prices. My husband and I had brunch for $22 plus tip. NOT bad! I had the breakfast quesadilla and my hus band had coffee/egg white veggie omelette. We will definitely be heading back there soon.

We love getting our be work breakfast and lunches from here!! They go out of their way to make sure we are well fed and satisfied!! Had a great experience this past weekend too! Thanks for all your hard work and great food!!

This place is amazing. Five stars all day. Service was steller. Food was out of this world.. If your thinking of coming in stop thinking and get over here. Place is clean and fresh and the two ladies that own it are friendly and hard working.

We had a great time today. The server was incredibly informative and willing to answer questions about the menu which we asked im force. We had the crab cakes which were mixed in house but premade and delicious. The wicktots that were also premade w bacon and chives and also very tasty. Chicken fried steak that was normal. A steak hoagie and a loaded grilled cheese w onion rings. The entire experience was a joy and we will be back for the ambiance. Give them a try you will be happy you did.

The food was delicious. 2 eggs Hashbrowns bacon, or sausage and toast great place to eat breakfast.

The waitress was wonderful. Very kind and very helpful. The coom was excellent. I had the gyro with natural home style fries. My buddy had the Chicken Philly wrap with slaw. Fantastic. Filling and priced just right

We went there for a private event, so I didn't eat off the menu, but the food, service, atmosphere was great. Will go back!

Great selection and food. Had take out and it was fast and it was delicious. I will be going back for more.

Got the breakfast quesadilla, very, very good. Parking, not much in the lot, had to park on the side street. Mate got french fries; fresh cut and plentiful.

Absolutely love this place! Feels like home away from home!

The servers are sweet and I believe the owner came over and talked to us the previous time my husband and I were there.

The food is fairly inexpensive and the amount you get is a very good size! If you're really hungry you can eat it all there, or you can easily save half the portions to get two meals out of it.

The first time I was there I got the crab cake eggs benedict which was delightful! Great taste and great portions, especially for under $10!

The second time, I asked if I could get a breakfast burger, but with a poached egg and some hollandaise sauce. They gave me so much sauce on the side and it was heavenly. So grateful that they were able to make changes to allow for what I wanted and they barely charged me extra!

Absolutely coming here again in the future! Definitely going to be a regular spot for my husband and I!

Very nice! First time back in a long time and since it was redone. Inside looks great and I like the menu refresh.

Busy and a little short staffed at the our first visit today so our wait time was longer than expected. The staff however were very accommodating and polite. Once our meals came out the food was amazing. Prices are extremely reasonable. We will return again!

Food is always great whit a short wait time. The staff is friendly and attentive. What else do you need? Oh, they treat you like a old friend. Try this place out. You won't be disappointed.
