Giving 1 star for the customer service I've experienced. Would not recommend, will change rating if I hear back from management on this issue.

I have encountered an issue with your office today and was denied service due to their office not willing to accommodate.

On June 28th, 2023 -- I call your office, Premier Foot & Ankle to inquire about type of service you provide dealing with warts on foot. This person, Cerstin (apology if name spelt wrong) answered, and I asked if they take my insurance, and they said yes. As I got the answer I needed, the representative were gathering my information. They asked if I would be bringing an interpreter and I told them no. However, I did say that I'd like to request interpreter for the appointment since I am Deaf. They said they would have to check and ask someone in the office if they provide it. She came back and stated that the office won't provide it and that the office cannot help me.

I emphasized that according to the American Disabilities Act law, Title 3, I am allowed to request an interpreter for this medical appointment and that it's not my responsibility to bring an interpreter. I said I would like to come in and they said we cannot take you without the interpreter (which I understand due to liability). Again, I asked if they would provide and I can give them the list of interpreting agencies and that I would like to be seen due to my injury on my foot to see this doctor (which was in my network of my insurance). Again, they said no. I said, you won't be providing me with an interpreter. They said again, they won't, and they cannot help me. I explained that it wasn't okay with how this is situation is being handled and they are breaking the ADA law.

She said our office doesn't provide it and we cannot help you. I asked to speak to upper management, and I sent the information over. Still waiting to hear back. I said again, under the ADA law, you are required to provide and not the patient (myself).

I would not recommend this place unless they are willing to make this right. It's crucial that office should be educated and aware of the ADA and how to 'properly' serve someone with disabilities.

Doctor was great but front desk staff is rude. They fail to communicate properly with patients and do not provide requested documents.
