Yosemite Westgate Lodge

Would stay here again. Great value for what we paid. The rooms were really nice with lots of space. Room appeared to be recently remodeled, so everything was new and fresh. I love the fact that there was no carpet in the rooms. Mattresses were comfy and we slept well. Room was very clean upon arrival. The gentleman at the front desk, who checked us in was kind and helpful. There is an Electrify America EV charging station right across the parking lot which was a major selling point for us. Although we came in the winter, we can see this place would be great in the summer with small kids. There’s a pool and what appears to be a new play structure on the property.

Great place, rooms look newly renovated and the staff feels like they care. It’s about an hour from the Yosemite valley proper, or at least from anything you really want to see in the valley. Not bad if you’re coming from really far. Don’t expect to get much use out of the free Wi-Fi though, it’s slow. Took about a minute to load a single Spotify song. Wouldn’t load maps at all. Other than that, highly recommend. 5 stars.

Was pleasantly surprised by how large and modern / fresh the rooms at this hotel were. We were very comfortable for the night we stayed. The only downside was the slow internet service (but to be expected given the remote location of the hotel). The town of Groveland is a 10 min drive down the road for food and gifts. We would stay here again!

Nice place to stay outside the park. We did have significant traffic jams on the way out both days in autumn so don’t know how practical it is to stay here in summer. Breakfast was fine and the rooms were nice though so will defiantly recommend .

Very good experience with Westgate Lodge. The personnel at the reception at our day of arrival was very kind and answered us a couple of questions about the park. Room was nice and clean, with coffe machine, tv and fridge. Downstairs you have some vending machines as well. Next to the Lodge there is a cafe, Lucky Buck, where you can eat and buy some souvenirs. I gave 4 stars on the location just because there are places closer to the park (or even inside), but for the price it was perfect. I recommend it!

Very nice and clean room and close to the entrance to Yosemite NP. Would definitely stay here again. The restaurant next door is a added bonus for when we returned from a day in the park.

Just before entering Yosemite NP. Reservation was available on same day. Night I drove 5 min to see Milkyway as it comes in dark sky zone. It was amazing view can’t capture view in camera.

Amazing place with clean and cozy rooms. Great location of the hotel. I enjoyed my time there.

Very lovely place to stay. Room was superb..so clean and fresh really new feel to it. Microwave, coffee machine, fridge and lovely fresh towels with nice shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion! Best shower I've ever had! Great little diner next door open from 07:30am to 20:30

Our tv was not working because of the previous guest messing with it. I told the front desk and within a few minutes a gentleman whose name is Manoj came to the room and fixed the problem immediately. 5 stars to Manoj and his lovely bride. Thanks again Manoj, you made our trip extra pleasant.

A comfortable room with nice amenities. A nice property and a restaurant that is walking distance. There's ample parking. Quiet property.

beautiful place. clean and quiet. rooms are very clean. front desk was friendly and welcoming. pool was awesome after 100s of miles on motorcycles.

Loved the lodge. Very clean and spacious room, clean linen, just wish the pillows were slightly larger. Check-in was smooth, we paid about $200 for a night, which is reasonable for 4 people family room.

There is a vending machine for beverages as well as ice vending machine. The restaurant nearby, Lucky Buck Cafe, is really good, has EV charging, and is open during holidays as well, of course with limited hours.

The lodge is located about one hour away from the Yosemite Valley, which is a slight bummer but worked out for us since we came for a day trip inside the valley. Overall, loved our stay and will definitely stay here again next time!

Pleasantly surprised! Our room was huge (deluxe queen) and beautifully decorated. Our kids were excited to see that the pool was still open in mid October due to unseasonably warm temperatures, and we enjoyed the hot tub nightly. The restaurant next door had great food. There was also a playground, community seating areas and corn hole available right by the pool. It was a little bit of a drive to Yosemite, but well worth the money we saved and the amenities at this property. If we have the opportunity to return to Yosemite, we will definitely be staying here again. Great stay!

I recommend staying at Yosemite Westgate Lodge. I was happy to see the thought and care that went into our room. It's very clean, when windows are closed, it's very quiet (our room was closest to the road), everything is of great quality even the cups and toilet paper. And so great to have a comfortable sleeper sofa available to accommodate the 3 of us. I'll be staying here again next time I'm near Yosemite.

Reasonably priced for the area. Good location (~40mins to Yosemite NP), clean rooms, comes with microwave and toiletries. Wifi was surprisingly fast and strong. There’s nothing much around so it’s great for a pit stop.

Great hotel! Right outside of Yosemite, can’t get closer without actually being in the park and paying three times the price. Very clean, modern bedrooms, with good heat and hot shower. Nice man at the front desk get us a room the night of at 8pm for a great price. We grabbed a late dinner at the restaurant just outside of our room. Food and service were both great. There’s a bar section with a cool lodge atmosphere. This hotel is a fantastic option for anyone visiting Yosemite!

This place is a gem! Up in the mountains, tucked back in the trees, this quaint little lodge is great for families! Our room was nicely renovated and very new. The bathroom was enormous for a hotel and it was also ADA compliant. Amenities were very nice for family travel. My 7 yo daughter enjoyed the playground, my teen loved the pool and spa. The fun bear decor all around the property was cute too. I would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms snd friendly staff! I will say, the Lucky Buck restaurant next door needs to update their hours. It’s the closest food, but they are only open for a bit during breakfast…close…then open again later. And our second day they were t open at all. We were forced to drive quite a bit to The Hungry Bear Diner for breakfast. Not exactly what I wanted to do, but it’s fine. BUT AGAIN, Yosemite Westgate is a great place to stay!

Easy check-in, clean and spacious rooms, and great location! The Lucky Buck Cafe is right next door, so you can come back to the hotel after a nice day's hike and unwind with some beer and comfort food.

Yosemite Westgate Lodge is located in the ideal place near to Yosemite National Park. If you are to stay till the sun set in Yosemite and then you can reach to the hotel in ~30 mins. So location is very convenient.

We had a very clean, renovated room and every thing was perfectly working. Hot water, Heater and lights and every thing was nice. We slept like at home. Check-in Check-out was smooth.

They have Lucky Buck Cafe in the next door and it made us very convenient for finding dinner as well. This is the perfect place to stay closes to yosemite.
