Dunsmore Park

Dunsmore Park holds a special place in my heart as a place of cherished childhood memories and now as a favorite destination for family outings with my own kids. With two expansive play areas catering to different age groups, it’s the perfect spot for children to unleash their energy and imagination. The well-kept baseball field adds to the charm, offering opportunities for sports enthusiasts to enjoy a game or two.

One of the highlights of Dunsmore Park is its abundance of benches scattered throughout the grounds, providing ideal spots for picnics or simply taking in the scenery. I have fond memories of the recreational room where my mother hosted my dad’s 50th birthday party decades ago, showcasing its versatility as a venue for special occasions.

While the park’s hilly terrain and slightly uneven concrete may pose a challenge for toddlers like my 1.5-year-old, it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall enjoyment Dunsmore Park offers. For families seeking a blend of nostalgia and outdoor fun, Dunsmore Park is an absolute gem worth visiting time and time again.

I live in Glendale I often travel here just because my 🐕 she loves to play and running is the best thing this park offers is alot of running space for the energetic kind

We love walking our dogs at this park. It has so many levels and pathways that keep it interesting.

Have been coming here for years. Plenty of picnic tables & barbecue grills throughout the park for everybody. There's more then one play ground for the kids. Baseball field & also tennis courts. There's 2 big clean restrooms. The park is actually so big that you forget about the other side of it.

I had my wedding here a few months ago. Best prices with a really lovely view! If you're looking for a simple wedding, this place is a great idea.

Lots of space to let your dog run behind the baseball field. But it isn’t fully fenced, so be sure to ask others if it’s okay with them and to have your dog under Good voice control.

I love this little park, it's small but shady. My dog loves going there & the best part is that it's only a block away from home.

Great little park. Two separate playgrounds keeps gives the little one plenty to explore. 6 swings as well as lots of room to run around in the grass.
The most impressive part as an adult is the landscaping that was done in the 50s has a lot of cool personal touches from the people that built the walls. You can tell that it was a community project and personal attention went into the construction.

My local park. My dogs love it here, but I mostly love it because the park has bright lights to walk through at night. The area is also great for having small family/friends gathering. The area is divided in a way to separate parties from one another. Plus, it's a very clean park.

It was nice and bigger than I expected. It had a pool for kids (although it was empty) play equipment and slides both for toddlers and small kids and nice seats. The bathrooms we're cleaner than in other parks and what was unexpected it had soap. It also have a tennis court and alley for walking. Also, the parking lot was big. I really enjoyed my visit over there

It's an amazing park for getting some fresh air because of it's huge and many trees. Night time you can feel you are in the forest. It has huge grass area where you can have a picnic with your family, friends and loved ones. Also, there is a baseball field where you can watch some games. It also has a barbeque area where people celebrate birthdays for kids. In addition to that children's play area is one of the best treats you may offer to your kids. It has swings both for toddlers and teenagers and many slides, monkey bars etc. It is one of the best parks in Glendale/Crescenta Valley area.

The baseball field is well kept! The park, bathrooms are clean. Great place to bring kids to play in the play area. Love to walk my dog there!

The surrounding park makes this baseball field a gem to play in! The high towering fence is kind of fun. Plus the stands are big slab seats. Perfect for picnicking! The bullpens are a little shaky though.

A quaint park with many mature trees, a tennis court, a baseball field, two kids' play areas, and lots of picnic tables. They even have a freshly renovated community room that can be rented for parties etc.I also love the unique masonry with embedded metal objects.

Beautiful park really nice baseball field great place to go for a walk or bicycle ride

Just simple park with all you need. Lots of friendly dog walkers (with friendly dogs). And if the dogs need more training. People seem to know that and keep them on a leash and with a mouth guard.

Family friendly park with ample parking. Beautiful stone walls, big beautiful trees and the gorgeous green grass! It's a park that you would in movie.

We come here mainly for the wading pool and it's awesome. Perfect for summer time gatherings for the lil ones. You can also rent the pool for a private event and they provide a lifeguard! Highly recommend.
