The Berkshire Inn

Chris and Brittany were fantastic hosts. Chris was around to help us to our room despite the fact that we arrived late. They both were so kind and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The rooms were clean and cozy and very comfortable. Our stay at the Berkshire Inn was excellent.

Chris and Brittany did a fabulous job for us. It was a very comfortable place to stay. Our bed was a bit soft, but not a problem really. The breakfast was awesome. The atmosphere is serene! I recommend staying if going to or from Yosemite from the north. If course the 120 entrance to the park closed the night we stayed, but I'm still glad we stayed there.

I was traveling across country with my adult daughter for her move to west coast. We stayed one night after a day of hiking at Yosemite. Our Room was clean, quiet, attractive. Hosts were super friendly and the homemade large breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely return to this Bed and Breakfast especially for a quiet weekend near Yosemite. We enjoyed reading while swinging on the porch swing and enjoying amazing view.

We chose Berkshire Inn due to it's proximity to Yosemite. But our stay made me appreciate the personal experience of a family-run inn. Wine, coffee, snacks were at the self serve bar. Breakfast was a choice of ham n cheese egg scramble or homemade pancakes. Homemade banana nut bread also! Beautiful views all around and very easy parking. The shower was nice and hot and the bed was comfortable in a spacious room. The friendly hosts were the best part of the state!

Brittany and Chris run a top-notch Bed and Breakfast that’s perfect for trips to Yosemite! Our room was exceptionally clean, our welcome was a warm one, and their homemade breakfast was icing on the cake! Even the wifi and water pressure were superb.

I highly recommend staying here. Couldn’t be better!

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip. The hosts were so welcoming, breakfast was made to order and a time of our choosing. We ate in an amazing Mexican in town, had a beer in the saloon, then back to the Inn to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down. I forgot how nice a family run b&b feels compared to a sterile check-yourself-in Airbnb. Would highly recommend!!

This place is amazing! We booked the suite with 2 queen beds. The room was attached to a large covered porch with a great view. The location is quiet and conveniently located near a store and few restaurants. It's also very clean. The staff is amazing! We called ahead when we realized we would arrive early. They cleaned the room and had it ready for us 4 hours ahead of scheduled check in. The porch also has 2 large refrigerators to keep your food and drinks cold. Breakfast was good with a selection of fruit, baked goods, and tea/coffee. This morning I asked if there were facilities to do a load of laundry. The owner took the clothes and offered to do it for me. Internet connection is great and the B&B is less than an hour from Yosemite, so you can drive back and forth for multiple days of hiking. Only positive things to write about this place. Worth every penny!!!

The hosts were super friendly. There were complimentary snacks and drinks 24/7. And in the morning, we received delicious home-made breakfasts from the hosts. The place was clean and cozy. I would recommend it to anyone who visits the Yosemite area.

Brittany and Chris have a beautiful property with a comfortable room, comfortable beds, and a shower that is just what you need after finishing treks in Yosemite. The zucchini bread was delicious and got us through to San Francisco. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time I'm in the area

We stayed here after our visit to the park, on the way back to SF. I was pleasantly surprised how clean it all was. The room is reminiscent of the 80s, but nothing looked old or worn. It had a homey feeling and the hosts greeted us warmly. There is ample parking for all guests, and several restaurants just up the road. The breakfast included mostly pre-packaged goods like granola bars and muffins, some fruit, juice, and coffee. Good grab-and-go food.

i think it depends on other guest staying, but for me it was perfect. They had everything I needed to relax before the Yosemite hike. Bed was fine and the hosts are amazing. Love their dog and the cat. Chickens were roaming in the parking lot in the morning. Had a good country experience on a hilltop house!

The Berkshire Inn was clean, comfortable and very welcoming to our last minute trip to Yosemite.

Chris accommodated our late check in (Though we did email to give them notice). Brittany was so friendly and cheery. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast but was plentiful.

Would happily stay again and would recommend :)

The best getaway ever! The rooms were very clean, and we liked that there was no TV. They also will make you fresh breakfast and always made sure we were accommodated. Would definitely stay here again!

The owners clearly take great pride in their establishment. Breakfast was outstanding and housekeeping was fanatical 😁😁. Location is excellent and the decor is well chosen.

We stayed here on our way to Yosemite, and this was a perfect stay for us. The breakfast was delicious, the couple that owns it was very kind, and our rooms were very comfortable!

Chris and Brittany are great hosts! The place is beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms are spic and span. This looks like it's on the main rood but it really isn't and there is absolutely no vehicle noise or disturbance. Wifi works great and used my laptop for few hours without any issues. Make sure to say hello to their lab Buster!

The Berkshire Inn is better than your destination!! This family are the kindest and gentlest of souls that it has been my pleasure to come in contact with. To say that they made my trip out west would be a large understatement. When our family had a tire blow on our rental van which the rental company left no spare for, we thought that tragedy hit our journey. We ended up across the street from this bed&breakfast and the owners came out to invite us in. The home was the most beautiful home that I have ever witnessed. Well taken care of with beautiful scenery. We were given a tour of the property that extends plenty.
We were treated as though we were family and even fed a meal. They allowed me to help with cooking since I enjoy cooking. She taught me a thing or two about cooking as well. We had to wait 9 hours for a new van to be delivered to us!!! All of this being done without expecting a penny from us. We would have all gone insane if it weren't for the generosity and kindness of their hearts. Next time that I find myself in the area, this will be my destination instead of just a stop along the way.

Love this place and the owners! They accommodated us on a very late check in! Our GPS did take us on the wrong road, which sucked, but Chris was kind and very helpful. Our room was cleaned and had fresh towels every day. You can tell this is a family business, ran by people who care about others!!! I will recommend this place to others.

Clean place, comfortable beds, cold rooms, food and quite. All the things i need to keep me well rested before heading to Yosemite National Park for a low price. Also the people there are great cause they never talk to me, which is good.

I had a great time staying here. Chris and Brittany were very helpful and had breakfast ready to go every morning. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again if I'm in the area.
