Wilton Jaffee Sr. Park

If you can get past the Yellow Snow and various uncollected droppings, this is a fantastic park. You can walk up the creek or go up the hill and connect to the Roaring Fork Trail. I think you can make a loop of it too. Good fishing access as well. And looks like people do some sweet sledding here as well.

I only had a couple of hours to kill while in Snowmass for JAS Experience. So close, beautiful, and stacked with fish! Once you park, just hike back along the river and you’ll see hole after hole of fishable water.

The trail along the roaring fork is gorgeous. Lots of big fish we could see from the trail!

It's gorgeous and peaceful up here! Keep in mind it is a put in/take out for the river so you might run into people and traffic/parking troubles, but knowing that and being river people ourselves, we had a wonderful time having a picnic and hanging out.

Off the beaten path! Great place to park to have access to the Rio Grande Trail

Beautiful trail through a beautiful Park along the river with stunning views. Great spots to drop in and fly fish.
