Jaguar Mexican Restaurant

It doesn't look like much from the outside, and the booth seats are worn down. But the food is excellent, as is the service. Walking in and seeing soccer on both televisions was a decent hint.

I had the macho burrito, and decided to order a quesadilla and tortilla soup to go. All of it was good.

Sooo good! Food was amazing. You can order at the counter right away and sit down or sit and wait for a menu!!!!

The food is amazing and authentic. It’s also very fresh and the service is great. With the closing of La Hacienda, this is the only Mexican food within a couple blocks. It’s well worth it though. I had the steak tacos. So good!!!

I've always felt Mexican food West of the Cascades is pretty hit or miss, but this place has the best Mexican food I've had in the PNW. The booths are a little worn, but the food is fantastic. Highly recommend and will definitely detour to hit this place on any trip I make up to the Seattle area.

My family was out for a trip in Seattle on the way home we decided to stop for a different restaurant when my daughter seen this place and we went here instead and I'm glad we did awesome food,service and atmosphere will definitely go here again

I’ve tried a handful of items from the menu, and they’ve all been consistently delicious in the two years I’ve lived in the area. Jaguar is a family friendly restaurant and is the only Mexican restaurant I’ve come across in the last couple of years that hits the spot with authentic Mexican food.

The quesabirria (probably spelt that wrong) is SO good. As a basic generic white guy, I love a good California burrito and theirs is hands down the best I’ve tried in Washington. So much so that I woke up craving one and that’s what prompted me to leave a review because I’ve been meaning to call out how good this place is.

If you’re craving authentic Mexican food in a casual environment, this is the spot. Great place to bring a family or friends, and it’s right in the middle of downtown Renton. Parking can be difficult at times, it just means that you might have to walk a couple of minutes to get there after finding a spot but it’s well worth it.

Side note - do not park in the nearby USPS parking lot. It’s a sirens call with how close it is with open parking spots. You’ll most certainly get a parking ticket. I learned the hard way because reading is apparently hard and I was in caveman mode of “need burrito”.

Excellent place for authentic Mexican. The chili relleno was on point, with wonderfully melted cheese inside. Al pastor was so tasty. I will be back to try everything else.

Very casual. Cafeteria style setting, but the food is so freaking good and great pricing! We usually get our food to go and it's always good. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!!

The jaguar plate had the best steak I've had in a long time.

Just celebrated father's day with my amazing dad in this beautiful restaurant! They had vegetarian and omnivores food and a huge selection for people who fast. The service was pretty great!

This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in years. Never knew it was pretty close so it is worth to come back.

I had a lengua dish that was absolutely delicious. The lengua was so tender and covered in a delicious sauce. They also have some really good coffee as well. I will definitely eat here again

I’m visiting from California on a work trip. I came across this restaurant and try the birria tacos and they were DELICIOUS! came back a second time to try the Carne Asada burrito and was not disappointed. The staff was great and friendly. I’m definitely coming back here when I’m in town.

Great service, parking was easy (street), food was delicious. Always looking for good tamales and this place fits the bill. Will definitely be back.

Carne asada con Cameron and it was delicious, large portions. Char-broiled skirt steak is so amazing. I wanted to eat everything on the menu but my stomach isn’t big enough so I will definitely be back so I can try them all!

Great Mexican restaurant to go get some tacos, burrito, etc. The employees are always very friendly and give you chips and salsa while you wait for your food to come out.
I usually get the carne asada torta but everything there is delicious.

This spot has authentic Mexican food with delicious flavors. We ordered the chile relleno plate with rice and beans and camarones al chipotle. Everything tasted fresh, and had great flavor. Would come back again!

Some of the best tacos i have eaten since moving to Seattle. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean.

Did a take out here. My new favorite Mexican restaurant. The carnitas nachos was fabulous with lots of meat and cheese. Also the burrito we ordered was outstanding. It is worthy of 5 stars for the taste and price.
