Grateful Deli

Went driving to see the fall colors here in Colorado. Arrived in Aspen in late afternoon and was a fish out of water. Looking for something to eat that would not cost the same as a tank of gas for my jeep. Found this 6 it was truly a hole in the wall, but OMG, the sandwich was so good! The options are overwhelming, but they have a few clients' favorites! Highly recommend!!

Excellent sandwiches and friendly people. I love this shop. It's definitely a must stop when visiting Aspen.

I was a homeless travelin hippy deadhead for life 😂❤Anyways i found myself in Aspen, me being a Jerry guy I had to ofcourse order the Garcia. Can’t remember the price or most of the day before I had it for kinda obvious reasons 😉 😂 but for years, heck even to this day I try and replicate the Garcia for me and other travelers and homebums when we get up enough for some good groceries and picnic in the bushes. 😂 I love the Grateful Deli, and the staff was so chill. I always recommend them to other travelers that mention they are in Aspen or headed that direction. ✌ ❤ 💀 ⚡ 🌹

Really delicious Italian hoagie! Potion size was big enough to share between my husband and I. Menu looked awesome excited to try again soon.

I stopped in here for a light lunch after a long morning of hiking. I was excited to see their different options as well as their reasonable pricing for the area! I got the Garcia which was really well made and had a lot of filling. The folks inside were really nice and friendly and quick to make the sandwich. I'd definitely recommend a stop in!

This is a great sandwich shop in the town of Aspen, their sandwiches are carefully crafted and are very tasty. If you're in town I'd recommend coming here!

This place is fabulous. What a treasure for Aspen to have. Prices are reasonable and food is great. Never had a bad item here. I just hope you last and aren’t driven out by some purse museum!

Their food is the best and the most affordable in the neighborhood. Their Panini is terrific!!! Try their grilled cheese sandwich with sourdough bread which is the best I have ever had in my entire life(not exaggerating)

Old school Colorado deli. Got the Cuban special. Authentic and delicious. Loved the cash discount.

So this time we ordered the Garcia and Bertha and made it over to the park to eat these killer sandwiches. They are as big as a softball and delicious beyond belief. The service as usual was fast even considering how big the line was. I'm talking like 3 minutes of waiting, no time at all right. Having lived nextdoor to the Dead back in The City I can tell you the inside of the Deli is just like the inside of their kitchen. They have all the necessary gear to make you feel like you're hanging with Jerry and the Boys.

In Aspen looking for lunch? Grateful Deli is where you gotta go. Their sandwich offerings are many and delicious. Once you place your order you can hang outside or grab one of their 3 tables on the sidewalk. Before you know it they'll call you name and you're good to go. Up the street there is a beautiful city park to eat your delicious sandwich. If you're a Dead Head you can also avail yourself to the wonderful Dead Merch they have on hand, not to mention some cool pictures of various band members. So make a plan grab a sandwich at the Grateful Deli you'll be glad you did.

The food is always absolutely delicious! And when Glenn the owner was out of town and we had an extremely large order for our office, the two ladies were so friendly and did an incredible job getting our order out perfectly. This is especially impressive knowing that everybody else was closed for off season so they were taken care of everyone in town. I would highly recommend grateful Deli to anybody.

The sandwich shop we have all been hoping to find on this long, strange trip! My Dire Wolf was excellent, and my wife raved about her Scarlet>Fire. They have gluten free bread.

Adorable little deli ran by some right on hippy sisters. I went for the tuna melt in rye with a chocolate chip cookie.

Absolutely incredible shop. The food was delicious and their options are nearly endless. They're extremely friendly people too. If you're in Aspen you gotta stop here!

What an awesome, yummy & fun dining experience! The staff was bright, cheerful and brimming with energy. They prepared my Chicken Caesar Salad quickly and wished me a good day. What a delicious salad it was! The dressing, which sure seemed homemade, was incredible. I will certainly be back to sample more of their offerings.

Cute lil hole in the wall deli right on Main St with a Grateful Dead theme throughout the (very small) shop that manages to push out delicious, flavorful sangwiches that kind of bring me back to when I used to reside in New England. Big portions, moderately priced. Great work!
