Amber's Uptown Consignment

We love this consignment store!! My family and I come to Aspen once a year and we look forward to stopping in. We always receive a warm and welcoming greeting!
Amber is extremely nice with the patience of a saint, helping us. The store is also so nicely laid out that I forget that I'm in a consignment shop. We will be back next year:)

Pretty cool store has more women’s clothes but there are some cool hangers that I have men’s stuff in there as well.

Oh my goodness, if you're in town you wont regret stopping in. Chanel, Fur, Hermes and the designer list goes on. Seriously!

Great stuff for my wife

Easy and fun place to pop into. The merchandising is nice and makes it easy to look through items. They have high quality clothing and accessories.

What a disappointment.

I consigned quite a lot of beautiful clothes (shoes, boots, dresses, cashmere sweaters, etc.) that should have netted me upwards of $500. About half way through the consignment period, I picked up one check. They were headed into their off season, so I chatted with Amber about what of my things she wanted to keep. She kind of brushed me off, suggested I check in with her after the ski mountains closed in the spring. Since I don't live in Aspen, I called a couple of times to check in with Amber to see where we were. Once she said she was leaving for vacation (normal for business owners in Aspen in the early spring), so I should call back in a few weeks. When I did call back, she was vague and told me she would call me back because she was "too busy to deal with it at the moment." Each time I spoke with her, she acted as though she didn't know me, didn't remember any of our earlier conversations or meetings. I finally went into the store early in the summer to find that she had indeed sold and/or donated whatever of my things were left, and since I left them past the consignment period, she had no money for me. So - lousy customer service. They do have a lot of designer labels that are exceedingly over-priced. Back to Suzies and Heirlooms in Basalt I go. They know how to do it right.
