Five stars to Tracie Walterscheid, PA-C. She’s always very friendly and knowledgeable. Pleasure to deal with. She’ll make you aware of extra charges not covered by the insurance if any. I even received procedure codes before my appointment to price check with the Aspen Hospital and my insurance company.
My children (age 4 and 6) got me so sick last winter (I was literally sick every 2-3 weeks), and Aspen Medical Care always had availability for me as a walk in. Dr. Connery is great.
I always receive replies to my Messages through the patient portal quickly.

We’ve been seeing Dr Harris as our pediatrician since 2019, and she goes above and beyond for thorough and thoughtful care. Dr Guggenheim is great too.

I had a great experience. The receptionists are very friendly and attentive. They received me in time and they are very professional. Dr. Connery was amazing, explained everything with detail and I felt very comfortable with my physical.

I could not say more amazing things about my visit this morning…it can be hard, in a small town, to find a physician who is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares about their patient and their life style. Shari Kiehnbaum did just this and more! I would recommend her to any women in the valley who needs a primary care physician.

My recent experience at the Aspen Medical Care facility in Aspen, Colorado was excellent. Everyone I met was extremely attentive, helpful, and kind, including the receptionist, a physician's assistant, and Dr. Bryan Gieszl.

I walked into the AMC clinic on the morning of August 31, 2022, without an appointment, because I felt miserable. I had an apparent sinus infection and/or cold, which turned out to be Covid. Notwithstanding my failure to make an appointment in advance, Dr. Gieszl came in to see me shortly after I completed the necessary paperwork (computer forms). Dr. Gieszl asked all the right questions, thoughtfully assessed my responses, and showed a genuine interest in my condition. He also clearly explained the advantages and disadvantages of my options for treatment. It was immediately obvious that he is a very talented physician and a caring human being. My respect for his abilities was heightened further when I subsequently learned that he is board certified in internal medicine (i.e., he is among the best in his field).

In short, I was very pleased with my experience at the Aspen Medical Care facility in Aspen. Further, I was extremely grateful that the doctors and staff were willing to assist me (an out-of-town tourist that had no appointment and whom they would likely never see again) so quickly, competently, and compassionately.

Started coming here 2.5 years ago. Never had an issue, always feel welcome and taken care of. There are a lot of bad reviews which I feel are not representative of the overall care provided. I see Haley Hoffman and she's simply awesome.

Dr Connery never rushes you and is very helpful with any medical issues. She truly makes you feel that she cares about you.

I needed to find a primary doctor about three years ago and wanted a clinic close by - did not want to drive to Aspen or Carbondale. I almost did not select Aspen Medical Care for all the bad reviews... but am I ever glad I decided to find out for myself. I have seen almost all of the doctors on their staff and each one of them have been friendly, professional and focused on my good health. I have had issues like tick fever and pneumonia and was treated expertly; plus they always call afterwards to see how you are doing. Amazing! I have also found the front staff to be incredibly nice and efficient. I was overcharged once (due to a problem on my health insurance card) and without asking, it was applied to my next co-pay... no problem! Completely satisfied with this medical care team.

Aspen Medical Care is an amazing organization that allows expert thoughtful care for walk ins in a town where so many specialists are booked out preventing those that are here for seasonal or shorter stays from getting care without having to visit the ER. This is why I am writing this and I don’t often post. The help at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer & more professional in my experience. I want to give a shout out to my terrific Physician Assistant “Tracie Walterscheid” who despite a busy day found the time to see me and to thoroughly hear out my issue and resolved for what I needed simply, seamlessly and soooo professionally. I come from a family of doctors and have been to numerous medical offices. If you should unfortunately need some medical support - you will be really well treated here based on my extremely positive experience.

Dr Connery and the staff at Aspen Medical Care put the emphasis on CARE !! They are amazing and I totally recommend them !!!

I'm a long term patient of the practice. The medical care is excellent and caring. If you really have a problem, they will stay late, come in early do what is needed to see you. Not the largest waiting room in the world, but in Aspen space is hard to come by, and they have many treatment rooms. Come here without hesitation.

I had a great experience with getting a walk in appointment, fast, friendly and efficient check in and thorough care and follow up from the practitioners.

Dr. Neiber has been my primary Care doctor since I moved to the area from California. He is increasibly thourough and has an amazing bed side manner . If you call the office to leave a message for your doctor or requesting a prescription they always get back to you within a few hours . I'm my opinion Dr Neiber is the best doctor in the valley !

I am from out of town and walked in just after 8am, and was taken care of kindly and promptly. Everyone was lovely.

Dr Bryan Gieszl was great. Excellent diagnostician. He was extremely helpful and patient in a stressful situation. I highly recommend him.

This place is great. Helpful staff, short wait times, and knowledgeable physicians who are willing to help. I've been going to this place for years and I've never had a complaint.
