W Aspen

Stayed here for my friends birthday. The service was spectacular. Shout out to the amazing check in ladies. So kind and informative. Shout out to Diego who made our friends birthday extra special. Also, although my friends didn't wake up in time for breakfast I had such a good breakfast with a pretty view of the newly fallen snow. They were all so attentive. I believe Ruhad from India was my sever and the other staff that morning were all so kind and let me sit there for over an hour while I waited for my friends to get up.
Also 24/hr hottub is amazing.. Jets were not working but the hottub was a perfect temp. The security guard showed up when we arrived and gave us all the rules for being in there at 3am in such a nice way and off he went. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

I stayed at W Aspen on the work trip around Halloween and couldn’t be more impressed and delighted with the level of service! Every staff member- front desk, valet guys, restaurant servers, shift manager- everyone was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Of course, the room was spotless as well as the entire premises, but the exceptional hospitality is what really made the impression on me. Thank you, all!

After an unpleasant experience with the reservations team last year, I received a very genuine apology from Grant, the operations director. He connected with me via phone and we spoke a while about my experience. I’m sure he didn’t expect me to come back, but I did based on how authentic he was with helping me. I am so glad I did! The team at the W Aspen is, so far, the best I’ve met at any W in the world and I’ve been to many (and hundreds of Marriott properties). Peter in Food and Beverage was so kind and helped me find the shops I was looking for and even gifted me a notebook from his own office since he saw I was in need of one for a project I was working on. He welcomed me by name every morning to breakfast and personally invited me to apres in the afternoon. Peter went above and beyond anything I could have asked for, and it was obvious that he enjoyed helping and providing for his team and guests. I mentioned how much I love lychees, and he brought me extras at the end of breakfast!! The whole restaurant team was lively and caring and attentive. The front desk check in was easy and pleasant as well. The Wheels team always greeted me with a smile, helped me pack my skis and load the car and drove me around town when I needed a ride. Adam, Kyle, Eyup and the other guys were courteous and cheerful. I appreciated having my door opened each time I arrived. My housekeeper, Olga, was such a sweetheart. She was so kind and folded my clothes for me each day. The room was great, the hot tub was huge and the breakfast was really excellent each day. This property has quite a standout team and they are heart-focused and really enjoy connecting with guests. I suspect this comes from top-down leadership of Grant. I will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful rooms, great staff and amazing food. I absolutely loved my stay at the W. Rooms are modern, hotel is so artsy and high end. Hotel is small but has everything you need. Highly recommend!

Special thanks to Andrea and Spencer for the help and care. Especially Andrea, we had more interaction with her and she went above and beyond every time and seemed to enjoy her job. I work in hospitality myself and wish she could work for me. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

My only drawback was the food was very hit or miss. The Chicken and waffles were spectacular. The smoothies are good. But often not consistent. But some items like the Miso Salmon were pretty disappointing. Miso is extremely salty and strong and should be used as a marinade or with other items. My salmon had an inch thick smear of miso on top and was so overly salty it was hard to eat. My corn soup seemed like the chef needed to get rid of random things. Edamame in a corn soup was a weird choice. I ordered a 7up soda and was served soda water with a bowl of limes. 😂 Not quite what I was going for. Asking the concierge about a dinner recommendation we were sent to a restaurant that was closed, this being after I had expressed we thought it was closed and were assured it was open by the concierge.

The top deck, room service and gym being open 24/7 were a huge plus. The light switch and all the lights being connected to one system was a huge downer. Also zero bathroom privacy. If you go to the bathroom everyone in the room (spouse, coworker, child) will see and hear you. Hope you're close before the trip.

All in all I loved the place and experience. Some staff seemed slightly unknowledgeable but we're very kind and polite and seemed newer so that's no negative to the overall. We quickly just went to Andrea for questions and got the help needed. It wasn't all perfect but all in all it worked for us, met our needs and left us happy.

Great location! Service from check-in to valet was efficient and helpful. The front desk and Concierge (Francis) had a welcome drink and our room ready right at 4pm. Our room was a corner suite with balcony - very quiet. Appreciated having a humidifier in the room as Aspen can be dry. A special shout out to Valet Wheels Team (Gonzab) - car ready and waiting and assisting us with bags. Thank you! We'll be back.

Love staying at this W; location is perfect, the staff always make an effort to go above and beyond, and Bonvoy status is definitely recognized. Diego and Jose were phenomenal in making this special occasion extra memorable for us and we greatly appreciate all the effort! The breakfast at 39 degrees is amazing and generous vouchers are offered as an elite benefit option. The roofdeck offers gorgeous views and a great atmosphere with a pool, hot tub and plenty of lounging space. Definitely stay here!

The W is a fun place to stay if visiting Aspen.

The Rooms were dressing in a fun fresh retro modern glam look. The bedding and bed were amazing not too soft or firm. There were two different pillows a medium and softer down filled. In the room is a full mini bar, with a stocked soda fridge. The balcony suite offered two lounge chairs that had a view of the city and or the mountains.

I highly recommended asking to NOT be in a room over the hotel entrance it was so loud as vacationers were laughing after arriving home from their bar hops.

I would also make sure that you get the Mountain View side of the hotel if possible.

This hotel is perfect for couples and can also work well for smaller families as they do offer connecting rooms.

An absolutely magical place.

My husband and I had the most amazing time in the mountains thanks to W Aspen. We had come into town with some friends for their Aspen Pride kick-off weekend and from the moment we landed the hotel took exceptional care of us. The house car was waiting for us right outside the airport and Tawnya, the driver, was so warm and welcoming. We've been to Aspen before and the getting in/out can be a bit tricky but this pick-up and drop off were seamless. The hotel itself is so perfect. Right at the base of the mountain just steps from the gondola and town. We were greeted by Andrea at the front desk who was so fun and helpful getting us settled even though we were early. The hotel held our bags and set us up with drinks while we waited and got a little work done. We got to check out the rooftop pool (a total scene, amazing views, rooftop bar!) before we got into our room which was so chic and comfortable, I could have moved in. The rest of the weekend was a dream, the hotel was hosting DJs, Yoga, hikes, and a bunch of parties that were so fun and we got some time to explore the mountain and walk around town between events. Aspen in the summer is such a different vibe but it is so worth the trip. All in it was an incredible adventure, and I can't wait to do it again next year.

Shikhar is an ELITE mixologist and committed to quality of service behind the bar. This place is a great location for cocktails and positive vibes.

We spent 4 days over Christmas on 3rd F mountain view. What makes W stands out as compared to other ski resorts is the services. The staff is nice and helpful. A big shout out to Justine, our server at the breakfast restaurant. I’m vegetarian and she goes above and beyond to make sure the meal experience is wonderful to start the day each morning. Breakfast is delicious and place is clean and beautiful. We usually spent 20+ nights each year staying at different ski resorts. The services have been generally lacking since pandemic so it’s nice to finally receive proper greetings and services. Also, the dog amenities are great. Large capacity quiet humidifiers available and cleaner refilled water tank daily. Cleaners work hard, and housekeeping bring items fast. Location is convenient and car service can drop off to various restaurants in town. Filtered water stations are good. Bathroom is open concept with frosty glasses, which is fine for us with a kid but might not work for others.

Exceptional service paired with beautiful rooms. Every single member on staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed, be it navigating the hotel itself or recommendations for where to eat in town.

We had an awesome stay at the W Aspen. Staff was very accommodating and kind. We were surprised with a bottle of champagne and wine for our anniversary. We loved the car service! Very convenient to be driven around anywhere in town. Great location to walk, as well. Nice rooftop bar and gym. We will be back!

Incredible service. Rooms were nice and clean. We got this surprise charcuterie board to our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The views from the rooftop are incredible!

From top to bottom; from the front office to the back office; the service culture here is beyond compare! We’ve stayed in all the ‘fancy places’ in Aspen. Never have we enjoyed our stay more. The wait staff in the restaurant attended to and anticipated our every need. The front desk staff met us with a smile each time we approached. The valet staff and the ski shop as well. IAM a little reluctant to write the review because it only means it will get busier. But I don’t want to keep a great secret all to myself. I’m not an effusive person generally. I’ve given poor reviews before so trust me when I say that you won’t be disappointed. Whatever the management has done has been a great success. They’ve done a fantastic job of leveling up everyone to the importance of customer service. We felt like important guests with each step we took.

Best hotel in Aspen. Modern, clean , great staff and excellent food. I had the Wow City view suite and it was absolutely perfect . Breakfast was delicious ! Room service equally great. Pool bar staff, food and amenities amazing. Location top notch. Water stations at the hotel for fresh water refill. I wish I could spend all my summers here !

We only spent a few days here but I was very impressed with the hotel staff. We were traveling with an infant and the W was able to pick us up from the airport. The welcome was great and easy check in. Bags were delivered to the room in a timely manner. The room was nice and located near the slopes. The bar area is small but still good!

Excellent place to stay in Aspen. Right next door to the Gondola too. Stayed in a Queen bunk room. Was perfect for a family vacation. The rooftop pool is heated and only 3.5ft deep. Great for all ages and open 24/7. Will most definitely be back

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights here for a quick weekend getaway. You definitely get a young, hip vibe as soon as you walk in. Because of our ambassador elite status we were upgraded to a suite which we enjoyed for the extra space. The decor is very eclectic and bright but fun. We were treated to some drinks upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise.

We also enjoyed free breakfast because of our status. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good variety but if we had had to pay the usual price it would not have been worth it!

Overall we had fun and there were many good amenities.
