Hyak County Park

Hyak county park is a well maintained park just off of highway 20, there is a boat ramp and you can also hang out by the water and wade in the water a bit. If you are going to swim make sure to be careful cause there is a current. The park is a good place to go for a float down the river. The parking lot is a decent size and also has truck with boat trailer parking spots, restrooms, picnic benches and I believe they have those bbq pit things

Glorious park so much fun I coukdnt contain myself swimming walking enjoying and all sorts of grass to play on and a big ol bridge to cross and stuff and things

Hayek Park is a beautiful Park in between Corvallis and Albany Oregon on Highway 20 I love this park because it's got everything the river it's got a place for your dogs to run around and it's got fishing a little dock you can go down the banks of the river it's a beautiful area lots of boats there's a boat ramp there boats coming in and out places to go floating in the summertime and even do a Little Rock hunting

This is a place I go to for some quiet time. Sometimes theres people there but most of the time there is not. I enjoy being able to get down to the water and have a decent view of the sunset. The water there is calm and relaxing to the eyes and ears.

We love coming here. Peaceful, serene, and beautiful. We like to come here and pick up trash, use our metal detector, and just take in nature. This is a fabulous spot to picnic, put the boat in, or just go for a walk.

I love this place, especially when floating/kayaking/paddling the river. Pro tip: put in at Willamette Park and get out here = perfect river experience. There's even a dock and boat ramp.

Bring sunscreen, as there isn't much coverage while on the river, and expect it to take anywhere from 5 - 8 hours, depending on water flow and whether or not you have a paddle. ✌😎

Quaint clean roadside park along the river. A perfect absolutely perfect place to have this county park with its clean restrooms ready to go! It would be a nice place to stop and have a picnic and enjoy a nice afternoon but for this stop it was a critical restroom break that was needed and Hyatt county Park did not let us down. I say this in all seriousness when we left there was a line of five cars all stopping to use the facilities as well. Somewhat comical but very very much appreciated.

I love my river and I utilize hyal park boat ramp often for drop off and pick ups on my floats. It has nice picnic area, bathrooms and beautiful scenery and tranquility

This is a great place to put in or take out. Lots of trailer parking and regular parking as well. It's a 7.5 mile drive to a a place to put in on the north side of Corvallis behind The Old Spaghetti Factory and a good day float from there if you stop and enjoy some spots on the river.

Great boat ramp, clean facilities, rarely any transients.

We stopped here, complete with a small picnic lunch. Beautiful day to watch the river flowing by. Very peaceful, although we stayed in the car to stay warm.

Great place to put in for tubing down to Bryant Park.

Beautiful, quiet riverside park. Great for picnicking- several tables set up, a benched overlook, and places to lay down a picnic blanket in the grass.

Hyatt Park is in the middle of Albany and Corvallis nice quiet clean good bathrooms I like to go do my metal transfer papers and my route organization and receipts and just basically organize things so it's a good place to fill out paperwork and take a breather

This place is a great little stop off top stretch out if you're traveling through Albany or Corvallis. It is also equipped with a boat ramp if you want to bring your boat out for the day.

The only place I caught a fish here in Oregon.

Good for river access. Parking fills up quick on the weekends

A hidden gem- this place is expansive but feels cozy with plenty of tree cover. An awesome bridge, a couple crow's-nests that overlook the river, and several picknick tables throughout. Not too busy either 👌
