I am someone with severe dental anxiety! I finally made myself see Dr. Tamas and her assistant Amber. I can’t believe I waited so long. They are so personable, caring and gentle. The patient is definitely the priority! This was the most amazing dental experience of my life. I can’t believe I can say that about a dental appointment. I truly can not wait to go back!

Every dental office I went to as a child had staff that were rude and demeaning so I avoided the dentist as an adult. But, once I got my own dental insurance I chose Waverly Dental based on good reviews. I have now had multiple appointments with this office and they've been amazing every time. Every staff member is kind and the hygienists and the dentist are so great. They will talk you through everything. If you've had a rough time at the dentist in the past this is a great office to choose instead!

This is a very patient centered sole practitioner practice. All personnel are very caring and friendly. Dr. Tamas is very thorough, careful, knowledgeable, and gentle. The practice is very well equipped and offers many services. The dental hygienist is does very detailed, through cleanings. After having a very bad experience with a large practice here in Albany, I was greatly pleased when I switched to this practice.

They were all so great, friendly, professional, and really caring! The Hygienist and the dentist was so good to me I was hurting bad, and they made sure to be careful but yet able to do a complete their assessment of my problem! And so funny them two, really made me comfortable. The ladies in the front were also so friendly and gave me such good information about pricing and my next visits and set me up for my dental work with another dentist to do some inadept work! All in just a matter of minutes! This place is Great. Ohhhhhh and the price! BOOM, were have you been all of my dental issues! I'm hooked.

Dr. Tamas and her staff are INCREDIBLE!! I put off going to the dentist for about 6 years because of bad past experiences. However, I can finally say I won’t ever dread or fear going to the dentist again after my visit here.
Her hygienist Sarah is amazing!! She was so thorough and careful about cleaning my teeth.
I could not believe how nice they looked after she was finished!
There is no way I could thank Dr. Tamas and her staff enough for giving me the confidence to smile again.

I went to Aspen Dental before coming to Waverly. I was looking for a real connection type feeling. I like to feel as if I'm someone the provider cares about. At Aspen I was just a number and was taken advantage of. Waverly has been great. The team is very personable and they connect with you on a personal level almost like you're a good friend. I would highly recomend them, the work they've done to repair Aspen dentals mistake has been great, and the other work they've done as well has been great! So glad they're in network!

I don't think I've ever been to a dentist's office where I look forward to my appointment. Every single person is so friendly and kind. Getting my teeth cleaned by our hygienist, Sara, is like catching up with an old friend. Dr. Tamas is just as kind and caring and you can tell her team is happy to work with her. My wife and I would highly recommend Waverly Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I’ve been looking for a new dentist in Albany and I finally found a great one. Everyone was so friendly here at Waverly Dental. My hygienist was Sarah and I highly recommend her. I have sensitive teeth and do not like getting my teeth cleaned. She did a great job. I highly recommend Waverly Dental!

I reached out to Dr. Tamas with an emergency situation, and she fit me in very quickly. It turned out I needed a difficult root canal and a crown. She made a referral to an Endodontist and when I returned she prepped my tooth for the crown. When it came time to seat it she paid extra attention to make sure my bite was comfortable.

Dr. Tamas is very skilled and efficient, explains everything, and she absolutely wants to make sure you are comfortable while she is doing work in your mouth. I am so happy with the way she handled everything.

I definitely will and do recommend Dr. Tamas to anyone that needs a Dentist, she's amazing.

Extremely happy with this dentist office. Dr. Tamas it's extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and an outstanding dentist. I have been to many many dentists in my past and she is by far one of the best dentist I've ever had. The office staff is very knowledgeable, experienced and wonderful to work with. They tried very very hard to ensure that you get top quality dental work and that can fit your budget.

I am new to the area and needed to establish with a dentist. I passed Waverly Dental on my way home and stopped in to see about an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She made me an appointment within the same week, and informed me of a coupon special for cleaning, exam and X-rays at an awesome price. The day of my appointment I waited less than five minutes before the hygenist came out to meet me. She was professional and friendly. She took the X-rays and then cleaned my teeth; I was pleased to see that she used the machine for cleaning. There was no discomfort and I especially liked the polish she used on my teeth. The dentist came in and discussed my X-rays and did a quick exam. She also was friendly and very professional. I will definitely be returning to a Waverly Dental.

We recently moved into Albany and are so happy to have found Waverly Dental! Dr. T is the best. So gentle and thorough. She put filling material over a few of the sensitive spots where my gums are receding and her work is impeccable and fixed the problem completely. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend Waverly Dental to anyone!

Sarah greeted me by name and asked about any dental needs. She cleaned my teeth gently, but thoroughly. Yearly x-rays were done, and Dr. Tomas reviewed them and checked my teeth. It was a pleasant experience.

Dr. Tamas and the staff are terrific.The receptionist is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The doctor has put together a great staff that made me feel at ease. I had to get a crown, which sucks but I knew I needed one, and the good doctor explained the choices and didn't push any unnessicery work at all. I have been to dentist that seem like used car salesmen but she was not like that at all. The doctor was concern with my comfort and made sure that I knew I had veto power if I felt too much pain or was unsure what was going on during the procedure. Very highly recommended! Doctor Tamas will be the only dentist I use, as long as she is in the area. The best experience I have had, in what for me is a bit of a torture chamber in that chair.

I hadn’t see a dentist in over 10 years so to say I was nervous is an understatement. I had such an amazing experience at Waverly Dental. Everyone from start to finish was more than gracious and accommodating. They got me in and out in about an hour with no pain. Thank you guys! I will definitely be back soon!

The staff at Waverly Dental are professional, friendly and thorough. They got me in at my appointed time, did a great job with my routine care and got me out in a timely fashion. I recommend them highly if you are considering dental care for you or your family!

We had an amazing experience today at Waverly Dental. It was my daughter's first time going to the dentist. She was so scared and unsure. Sara did such a good job in calming my daughter's fear. Sara showed her all the tools and explained what each one does before she used them. She was so kind and gentle and very calming. My daughter told me on the way home that she wanted to go back again the next day! She loved Sara and Dr. T. Thank you soo much ladies, for making it a positive, first time experience for our daughter! You all did a Great Job!! Thank you!

This morning I found my self needing a new dentist for emergency treatment. I called and was in the office 15 minutes later. Dr. Tamas enters a room with a bright smile, and a firm handshake (yes, women appreciate those too.) She was kind, which is so important for those of us who get a bit worried during dental cares. She explained my current situation, provided me with options, and supported me in deciding on tooth extraction. She made room in her day a few hours later for the procedure. Dr. Tamas reminded me I was in charge and stop her for any reason. The extraction was tough...and I was in a lot of pain within the hour, due to all the pressure, but appropriate medications had been provided. When leaving the office I told Tammy at reception...Dr. Tamas may be small, but she is mighty. I have an appointment for a cleaning and treatment plan next week...so glad to have found a dental office I am comfortable with and have a goal of making sure I am cared for.

I’m a huge baby about my teeth, so the dentist is always dreaded. Everyone here was so nice, from front staff, to the hygienist and the dentist herself. Special props to Ashley, who was very gentle and understanding throughout.
