Rice 'n' Spice Oriental Foods

It was a pleasure to find a Korean market in Corvallis, Oregon. This oriental store was clean and well-organized with so many different Asian foods including Kimchi and ramen. The owners are a married couple and very kind and nice.

At least four times a year we drive round-trip from Central Oregon to Corvallis just to shop at Rice ‘n’ Spice. Great selection of Asian foods and ingredients we cannot find locally. The owners are very friendly and helpful, offering cooking suggestions and recommendations.

Cute little store. I love going here and getting my udon and curry. The owners are very nice and joke with us when we come in. I will definitely keep coming. They have a wonderful selection considering how small the place is. BTW, they take card and SNAP. They are not cash only

I live in Albany and looked for banana ketchup and couldn't find it anywhere, but I'm so happy this shop had some! It's a small shop, but it had a lot of great stuff and the shop owner was nice.

This has been one of the most reliable stores ever. I've been going for years. The owners have been wonderful and resourceful. And it seems even though it's a small store they always have everything I need.

Best place ever for finding that thing you're just beginning to understand is a thing that's supposed to go in your curry or pad see ew. Mom and Pop shop where they're glad to help you get the right ingredients for a recipe. A wonderful spot for a novice or a chef to shop.

Fantastic family owned business. I believe the last time I was there, they only took cash. But don't let that keep you from paying this place a visit. It's a small store, but packed with many goodies of all kinds. I particularly go for their big variety of sauces that are very hard to find.

Love this place! 10/10 costumer service and the staff are always very helpful! Rice n Spice is one of my favorite places to get foods and the snacks/drinks i need especially when I cant find them anywhere else. Its a very raw authentic experience and a definite must go!

Updated Jan 2024: I still love Rice 'n' Spice for groceries and utensils. I have been coming here for 8 years now. The owners are very kind and will often give me advice on the best ingredients to choose for making my favorite Korean dishes. They carry fresh, canned and frozen Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Filipino, Indian products (among others), meat, fish, and a variety of common and unique vegetables, just to name a few! You can find so many specialty items often used in Asian cooking, and they're open 7 days a week! Please support this wonderful local business! ♥🍚🧂

It’s the sauce to the right of the red boat the Katsu sauce. This is why we drive from Lebanon to Corvallis love this place so much to look at never a dull moment, and the service is excellent.

This is a great little Asian market! I come here for Nongshim vegan noodles, Turtle Chips, and anything else I’m interested in. They have produce and protein in the fridge/freezers towards the back. The owner is kind.

My favorite place to pick up essential products for authentic Asian quisine. The owner will always help you find exactly what you are looking for, and has always steered me towards better products. A wee bit off of the beaten path, but well worth the extra mile or two from H&K. Not that I have any issues, whatsoever with them. Just Rice 'n' Spice is my favorite.!😁👍

They have a ton of options of Asian snacks to produce and meats. They have; kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Pretty much anything you could think of. Awesome locally owned Asian market! The owners are always super kind and friendly to speak with, highly recommend!

Very friendly owners and reasonably priced items for a small store. I can find not only korean ingredients but other Asian ingredients. When I don't find things I need, I can ask the owners and they will try to get it for me. It's very clean and well organized. Happy to have this store in corvallis!

i've been coming here since moving to corvallis and i love this shop a lot!!! everything is always fresh, easily accessible, and there're SO many different varriations for the items they sell (i get to try a new one every time!). the people who work (owners?) are always kind and helpful, sometimes joking with me and offering advice for products i'm new to!!! i can't reccomend this place enough <3

Since Moving to Oregon from Hawaii, I have finally found a place where I can get all of my favorite Asian snacks, foods and soju. The owners are wonderful..and the prices are so reasonable.

I love their Rice n Spice kimchi! Make sure you pay attention to which jar you grab. One is cabbage the other is radish.

The owners of Rice ‘n Spice will help you figure out exactly what you need for any Asian recipe you’re interested in. Once I just showed him a photo of Korean rice cakes (because I didn’t know what they were called they just looked good) and he said “oh yes Tteok!” And he showed me to a freezer area and pointed them out to me! He even showed me some sauces that work well with them. I love this place so much. My husband and I go there once a week to stock up on tofu and seasonal fruits. Probably two of the most honest and hardworking people in Corvallis, maybe Oregon in general. Keep shopping there and tip them if you can! ☺

Over the last couple of years I've been trying out Asian cooking. They have pretty much anything I've looked for and I enjoy chatting with the owner about spicy Ramen. Love this market.
