This guy is awesome. I did this without a sedative. The staff here are polite and responsive and scheduling was very easy. Doctor Abano has a fantastic sense of humor that killed the anxiety I had over the procedure. He was very good about making sure all my questions were answered and very responsive if I felt any discomfort. Great clinic would absolutely recommend.

Very easy to schedule. The staff make you feel comfortable answering any questions you may have. I was very nervous to have this procedure, but after meeting Dr. Abano I felt much more at ease. He has a great sense of humor and is able to carry a conversation while working. This allowed my mind to be somewhere else rather than worrying. It was a very painless procedure as well. Honestly I worried for no reason. Just follow the icing and laying low instructions post care and you’ll be fine. Thank you for the great work you do.

Quick, easy and painless. Dr. Abano is hilarious and made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend his services to anyone. I didn’t use any sedative and it was totally fine. It really doesn’t hurt at all. Just relax, trust the doc and everything will be A OK!

Dr. Abano and his team were very patient and polite. My son's case was not easy but he had a great experience here. They did everything they could to make sure the operation was successful (which, in my son's case was his circumcision). Unfortunately my son had to undergo surgery twice because of some unforeseen difficulties. Dr. Abano didn't lose hope and he wanted to make sure it was done right because his priority was my son's safety. And guess what, it was successful and Dr. Abano never asked for additional professional fee. He is such a kind-hearted person. I wish there are a lot of doctors like him in this world.

My son said surgeries were never boring because Dr. Abano's team are easy to converse with and are very nice. Dr. Abano even let my son borrow his gameboy during the procedure. They always want to keep you comfortable especially if you feel any pain or discomfort. They are very professional and always do a great job. And with a bonus!-- Dr. Abano gives you good advice even with things that are not related to the procedure. He is a good person. And also, Amanda ( nurse) and the rest of the team do everything they can to help you out. If you chose this place for your vasectomy and/or circumcision, you definitely chose well. I guarantee you will have an amazing experience here. I absolutely recommend this awesome vasectomy clinic.

Dr. Abano and his staff were great. The entire process was so easy and smooth to get through all of the prep work and getting an appointment scheduled. The actual procedure is very quick and the whole process is well setup on the day of. Overall the experience took just over an hour from the time I showed up until the time I left. Actual procedure took only 10 minutes, followed by about 20 minutes of icing. Dr. Abano answered all my questions and was great to chat with during the procedure. I was able to drive myself home after the procedure without any concerns. Overall the recovery process was exactly what they told me it would be. I would highly recommend Dr. Abano and his practice for anyone interested in getting a vasectomy.

I was as nervous as the next guy about getting a vasectomy. Not a thing to worry about with Dr. Abano. He made sure I was comfortable and we carried on normal conversation and good sense of humor while he performed the procedure. I never felt any pain and was given clear after care instructions. I know some random guy rambling on the internet won’t make you any less nervous but as far as this goes, I recommend Dr. Abano.

The whole experience was, and has been, so much easier and pain free than expected! Dr. Abano was so friendly and had a great sense of humor which helped ease my nerves, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have this procedure done!

I am very fortunate to have had Dr. Abano perform this procedure. Felt comfortable from the beginning, he was very professional and transparent in explaining potential risks, and explained what to expect before and during the procedure. Excellent support staff provided detailed post-op instructions.
You really would want someone who has the expertise and does this procedure on a daily basis.

Dr. Abano, was great!! Made me feel so much more comfortable once I was in the room. Made sure I knew everything that was happening as it went. 100% felt nothing during the procedure besides maybe a small pinch. I would recommend Dr. Abano to anyone who might be considering a vasectomy!!

As nerve racking as it is to go through this is a man, it’s really an easy experience overall. Dr. Abano is a funny and easy going guy who is obviously great at what he does. You’ll notice the application of aesthetic but not because of pain, only because it’s surprising since your nerves are already on edge. The whole process, with 20 minutes of icing was no more than 40 minutes while the actual procedure was easily 15 minutes or less.

Currently I’m about 28 hours since having it done with essentially no soreness and no noticeable bleeding from the incision site. You’ll be slightly sore with some mild abdominal discomfort as the aesthetic wears off (I would equate it to getting a light nut tap). Definitely take the recommended downtime after having it done and you’ll be fine.

The procedure was quick and easy and pain free, the when they numb you it feels like a small rubber band snap that’s all you feel. Dr. John Abano is friendly and makes your appointment go by quick ! I highy recommend going through them !

I’ve been thinking about this for months, after the wife and I had our 2 kids we decided we were done. Dr John abano and his staff were amazing from start to finish. The procedure alone was 10 mins, and 20 mins icing down. Literally the only thing you feel is like a rubber band hitting you on each testi. Walked out feeling great. Have been following directions. 2-3 hours after I was home only slight to no discomfort when standing to use the bathroom. Like the very end pain after being kicked in the nuts. Now it’s been 24 hrs since procedure and no pain whatsoever. Knocking on wood it stays this way 🤞

All around great experience. Surprisingly just about painless, everyone in the office was kind friendly and very approachable. Surgeon was a blast great personality and professional at the same time. Few fun jokes during the procedure helped ease the nerves. Writing this review about 7 hours after my procedure haven't had any difficulties or pains at all!!!

The best vasectomy I’ve ever had! Of course I’ve only had one, at the Vasectomy Center. During my consultation, Dr. Abano checked… the goods… and made out loud remarks about what he anticipated for the procedure. He put me at ease with his humor. I was ready for my snip! A couple of weeks later I was back for my procedure and it took literally 10 minutes. The doctor was making jokes the whole time- definitely a routine he had perfected after years on the job. It all went well, with little pain and just a bit of discomfort. I got home and applied a bag of frozen peas and in three days I was up and without any pain. Today was the 12-week mark and I’ve been declared sterile. Yay! Thanks Vasectomy Center!

Considering this an experience no man ever wants to go through, it was as pleasant and comfortable as humanly possible. Dr. Abano was both hilarious and professional which made the procedure incredibly easy. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly, all around a great experience.

Great experience! Dr. Abano made me feel very comfortable and with the added humor made light of an uneasy situation and the procedure itself was not bad at all. Back to normal activity after about a week.

It was really a great experience. I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Abano was very skilled, very professional, and has excellent bedside manner. The procedure is literally painless, and the recovery time is short. The recovery is probably the least comfortable part of the whole process, and even that’s not more than some mild discomfort while I sit around and relax for a few days. I highly recommend it!

If your in the market to get your bean bags snipped I would highly recommend this place. Was very nervous. Dr. John was very funny and his humor definitely put me at ease. The anesthesia worked very well and I didn't feel anything. Recovery has been easy and almost painless, just sitting and reading books and watching tv.
