First Call Plus

Over the years I have referred many many people to First Call and they have all been so very pleased and thanked me so much.

You don't "want" to visit here, you may "have to" in regards to someone else.
Helpful, friendly, compassionate, considering the circumstances surrounding the visit.
Pay attention to the map, to find the place. You will miss it. Look for sign above door. Do call to let them know you are there. I couldn't see clearly enough to take a photo.

Monopoly in the service area. Denied customers services at their whim. Look elsewhere is possible.

Craig made over half a dozen errors on my loved one's death certificate after spending over 20 minutes on the phone with me clarifying the information. He then called me back 15 minutes later to double check the spelling of a name which he ultimately still spelled wrong on the form (how?!). The form is only half of a standard sheet of paper with just a handful of fields of information. Name, age, SS#, address, mom and dad's name, my name and address, that's it. Craig was incompetent in the extreme. Also, he had dreadful phone etiquette (long silences - I kept having to ask "are you still there?") Thankfully, Autumn called the next day and fixed all the mistakes in just a few minutes. She was terrific, but nothing could have made up for the experience with Craig.

This place does not even deserve one star from our family. Had to put at least one star to be able to POST my review!
They were contracted by Columbia funeral home to pick up my husband’s body, the woman did so at 1pm. 2.5 hours later had not delivered his body to Columbia. Where has she been when time is of the essence for a pathologist to do his work for donation purposes?!?! NOT HAPPY with this place, CANNOT recommend their service’s as far as reliability if delivery.

I would have given no stars if I could. They came to my house to get my loved one in a filthy van. The two people were not dressed appropriately or respectfully and they had another body in the van. They did a terrible job on my loved one. When I saw her, I was shocked. Terrible job and very unprofessional.
