Rodeway Inn Albany

Very simple, clean motel room. It had everything I needed. I travel frequently, so I've stayed in a lot of motels. This one had no frills, but it was comfortable and clean with good hot coffee in the lobby in the morning.

I stay in hotels 9/10s of the year due to work. I have experienced many different hotels in my time and ive gotta say I was skeptical of this hotel firstly because you typically get what you pay for, but also because of the horrible stay I had at the Corvallis location. However the hotel met every one of my expectations.
My first impression was a welcoming feeling due to the employee that checked me in. The gentleman named Don working the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. I rarely feel as welcomed as I did with this wonderful human being. He took the time to give me answers to all my questions and was kind.

As I made my way through the door of my room I was prepared to be let down due to the low cost of my 2 night stay. However I was impressed by the clean smell and cleanliness of the Second floor room. The cable TV actually work and there were gobs of channels.

The room came with all the amenities one would expect. Good sized fridge, microwave, and plenty of seating for friends and family. The bathroom was stocked with the necessities and the A/C helped me sleep the whole night through.
I read a previous review saying the bed was uncomfortable. However that must be a thing of preference. The bed was a pillow top and relatively firm...perfect!
The carpet was reassuringly stain free as I like to stretch before and after my day. I had no reserves about stretching out on this clean surface.
The paint on the walls was relatively fresh and good lighting from one end of the room to the other. And there was plenty of parking near my room.
The location is great as it's right off of I5, super close to Walmart, and if the park is your thing, the fair grounds are less than a 3 minute walk. Also there is an Asian restraunt next door that serves some decent food with bar and gambling. Personally I don't use but 'going green' weed shop is a 3 minute walk away also.
My only concern is that the Rodeway owner raises rates. And rightly so. If the price stays low this is my new-found go to for hotel stays from here on out.

What a great stay. It is underrated at very good. Should be EXCELLENT! While it is an older motel, it has everything you need, very clean and the staff was tops!

This is a very fine place to stay . The staff works very hard to keep it clean and people are real friendly .

Very courteous and helpful staff. Don the night manager, Katie? At the desk, and Bipin were friendly and accommodating as well.

Great stay overnight stay here. Huge room was older but very clean. Easy access from I5 but couldn't hear the freeway.

Very good stay. Easy on/off I-5. Friendly staff, clean big rooms, comfortable bed. I am in a different hotel almost every night. The Rodeway brand can be hit or miss. This one is a hit. There are freshly planted gardens and lots of roses, that's all you really need to know. The innkeepers here really care about their property and it shows. I will be back.

Wonderful. Room was quiet and warm. Bed was really comfortable. Housekeeping was very efficient. Staff was friendly. Coffee was good. Will stay here if traveling here again.

For not a high-end Hotel, I was completely satisfied. Rooms were spacious and super clean and quiet. Refrigerator, microwave, blow dryer, and ironing board complete. Right off the freeway and close to everything. Staying there for 4 days I asked the manager for a lower room and I was accommodated eloquently. Friendly staff. We'll come back here next year.

I was very disappointed. The sheets on one of the beds had not been changed so we ended up sleeping on top of the covers. Luckily we had brought our own blankets. Two of our rooms had smoke alarms that beeped all night long. They might want to consider doing some improvements because I wouldn't stay there again and I won't recommend it to anyone.

Now that they have us under quarantine I have time to catch up on reviews.

Stayed here during one of my travels and I was shocked on the service.

Hotel - Place was kept up and shockingly my room was kept up and clean.

Service - Staff was really nice and very helpful.

Parking - Plenty of parking available here.

Price - The room rates are very competitive and priced fair.

Overall for the type of hotel it is it was a good experience.

Nice stay for 1 night!
Right off the freeway. Close to gas and a Super Walmart. Equipped with microwave and nice mini fridge...buying microwave foods and drinks from Walmart was a plus, helped save us money on eating out!- just a tip.
Bed was just right. Quiet night no issues. Nice little garden out in front with eggplants, peas, green beans. Unique to see! Front desk woman was nice and friendly too, easy check in and good parking.

The rooms were much better than I had expected considering the price. People of the desk were super helpful when I wanted to add one more night to my stay. Breakfast wasn't very much for breakfast, but otherwise I would have no complaints. Absolutely would stay there again

Excellent staff. Very friendly. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. Small dings on the wall but had been covered up with paint so still looked quite nice

I live in Albany but have roommates & y wife & i get a room a couple times a year for privacy. Value Inn is now refusing 2 rent to locals so i came 2 rodeway inn & they were amazing!! Extremely professional,Friendly, very clean rooms,420 friendly,service animals welcome & Cheap. Screw value INN; Roadway Inn is my new SPOT!!!

Been traveling for 7 months and this was by far the best room ive stayed in. Everything you need in a room. Zero complaints. Very helpful staff too!

I stayed at all.the local motel.in Albany, they all were not as nice as this place. The staff that was cleaning the rooms was friendly and nice I was having such a bad day I had lost my house and job and this gentleman that was cleaning talked to me and made my day so much better. THANKS!

Great price and super clean rooms. I've been here a couple of times now I have to say one of the better place in Albany and the people who work to there are friendly

Clean room, good price. Not much there but a great place to sleep. Better than the la Quinta in town. Our room there wasn't cleaned and the staff didn't know what to do.
