One of the longest tables made from one tree is there and it is believed to be from the year 1492 when Christopher Columbus found the Americas. 😀👍The Dinosaur Bones are fun to climb on or sit on and the rose garden on the other side of Avery Park is very lovely. The roses are beautiful and fragrant.

It's a beautiful, peaceful spot. We love it there. Back in the day we participated in community gardening there - it was fun! Our dog Bella love the place. We meet super nice people there. Hope we can keep restrooms open more of the time in the parks. Keeping the parks in good shape with clean restrooms might be good paying jobs with benefits and much appreciated by all.

Been going to Avery park as long as I've been alive. It's such a beautiful place and really nice to walk around

Plenty of shelter from the sun, and well kept when we went there. The train and little park were very fun for the little kids, and cold clean water was accessible from the tap in one of the covered places.

A very nice shelter at Avery Park with several restrooms, water, picnic tables, grills, and a nearby playground for kids.
