Takena Park

Nice park. Lots of space, big trees, two play structures, swings and covered picnic tables. Happy to find a port-a-potty in a little enclosure. And a trash can. We felt safe and had a great time.

So Lovely with little wild daisies growing in patches around the park.

We did not use the playground, but the covered picnic tables were so great to have available.

Kids enjoy practicing their bouldering skills. Good shade and a quiet neighborhood.

I brought my seven and eight year old here to play and they had so much fun. There were about six other children here also which was nice because lately when we go out to a playground there is barely anybody her age to socialize with. Anyways, this park has a big boulder for rock climbing, swings, two separate playground slide/climb/bridges/fireman pole type structures. It's a big area with tree's, lots of grass, picnic tables, bbq stands. I also brought my Chihuahua and she had fun smelling stuff. Lots of other dog walkers enjoying the outside world. We're coming here again soon

Park is huge surrounded by trees for nice shade areas. Picnic tables and BBQ's for gatherings. T- ball field and playground that are clean and safe. Park is located in a quiet little neighborhood in the historic district of town.

Perfect park for a little one learning to run and wanting to climb everything they can. Out of all parks my son (1 1/2) starts to yell HEY once we arrive. Great overall

Takena Park is a public park centrally located in a quiet neighborhood in Albany Oregon. There is a playground for kids and a large open area for family gatherings, playing with your dog or any recreational activity that requires a large open area.

There is a small wading pool for kids that is open in the summer but does not have a lifeguard on duty but is not necessary as the water is only 12"-16" deep.

Pleasant park for gatherings with lots of shade trees, two tarped/canvas shade shelters and several picnic tables. The playground is adequate.
