I don't think I've ever left a gas station feeling compelled to leave a review, I mean even when I've had bad experiences at a gas station it doesn't really matter because my expectations of gas stations are so low that in a million years people will drill them for oil. But I've been to this place twice now and each time I was helped by one of the nicest people I have ever met. I'm guessing that's Clive. It's weird, but I definitely have brand loyalty to this place and I will always make it my go-to stop for snacks and gas when I'm in Corvallis.

I have been going to Clive’s for years. Multiple times per week. I have never had a problem going there. The pumps have almost always been functional. One of the few places here that allows you to pump your own fuel if desired.The customer service has always been excellent and they have a good selection within the store.

The only two things I’ve noticed that needs to be done is filling the potholes in the parking lot and fixing the building A/C.

After reading a lot of these 1 star reviews. I have noticed that a lot of these reviewers are entitled or they are spewing nonsense.

I moved out into this area about 6 years ago and have been using this gas station EXCLUSIVELY because it's owned by my neighbors, firstly, but also because I am usually IN & OUT quickly with a smile on my face. They hire very good people and Clive is ALWAYS, ALWAYS very personable and efficient.

I have no clue why this place has been getting such bad reviews. For a gas station, this place is awesome. It’s a 5 minute walk from g3 sports and fitness and they have a wide variety of goodies and a sandwich bar. The staff are very friendly, especially Clive. This place is also partnered with Safeway fuel rewards and that’s a plus. Don’t pay attention to those biased one star reviews you see about this place and give it a try whether you forgot milk, need gas, or are just passing by!

Good snack & drink selection

Great beer selection, snacks and gas. What more do you want from a corner store?

The owner Clive is a good egg.

Plain and simple the only corner store close to my home, and thankfully a good one.

No toilet. But guy says he gets the outdoor one cleaned every week. Highly doubtful. But he did compensate me for the feed back and not begging able to use a toilet

Closed at 11:40am on a Sunday... even the self serve pumps. Not a great look.

Don't stop here to use the bathroom. It's a porta-potty outback.

Rudest lady. I stopped to put gas. The car in front of me paid with cash. The attendant said nothing the person. Took the cash and even brought them back change. It was my turn and was going to pay using a debit card. She tells me that there policy is to have people to scan there own card. I just looked at her and said ok I'll do it. She got irritated with that and proceeded mumbling things and giving me rude looks. I guess money is cleaner to handle than scanning a debit card

Terrible customer service. The lady acted upset that we wanted to purchase drinks and gas. Groaning and complaining like it was too much work and we were ruining her day.

2 of the 3 times I've been in this place I've had horrible customer service mostly due to the poor fuel attendants. Some are darn right combative. So I refuse to go there anymore.

Old lady is an unfriendly incompetent person with a generally repulsive attitude. Just go to anywhere else in corvallis.

I see why they have one star reviews. The two ladies there are just absolutely rude and almost combative. Poor customer service is an understatement.
