Hyatt Place Richmond/Arboretum

This particular Hyatt Place was fantastic. We stayed here for a mother daughter trip to check out Midlothian as I’m looking at purchasing a home in the area. I want to give a shout out to Mary specifically. She has to be one of the sweetest and kindest workers I’ve ever come across. She is truly a gem and what hospitality is all about. She made us feel warm and welcome during our entire stay. She is the reason I will be coming back to this Hyatt anytime I’m in Richmond. Thanks again to all the staff, very pleasant stay!

Thank you Hyatt Place!!!! I had an amazing time and staying here made all the difference. The room was nice and cozy, the breakfast was tasty and Kennedy at the front desk for my check was super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. After speaking to her I knew my stay would be a great one. We stayed for a week with the Hyatt and this was a wonderful experience. The staff here is simple amazing and so sweet. Each day we were greeted, doors were opened for us, and if we needed something it was taken care of. Staying here daily we seen how they kept this hotel so clean. I would see daily wipe downs of almost everything here. Breakfast was hot and really good as well. The only downside of the whole stay was paying for parking. Just be prepared for that on top of your room charge. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is always a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The property itself has some of the cleanest well decorated rooms around. My favorite place to stay in Richmond. Even the high traffic common areas are spotless and that is almost always a problem at hotels. Through not downtown the ride to get downtown is maybe 10-15 minutes.Highly recommended.

This category 1 Hyatt hotel is in better shape than most and has been updated with more fresh inviting colors and slight modifications that allow you to still recognize the Hyatt Place immediately but also appreciate the extra effort. The breakfast was standard but they did not run out of things even by 10am with a fully booked hotel- that was certainly to be applauded. The common spaces showed some wear and tear but the staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were in good shape and the beds were very comfortable. The parking is $8 a night paid via an app which was different but pretty simple to navigate. Definitely will stay here again in the future because you can't beat the value.

Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Beds very comfy. The staff was very helpful, especially the group sales staff and those on hand to help. Highly recommend.

My experience has been perfect since the moment I drove in. Easy to find, lovely quiet setting, great customer service at the front desk. They accommodated all of my requests, my room was excellent, hotel is clean and well run. I will stay again.

A 2 week business stay.. the staff was very friendly and awesome... Felt like old Friends after 3 days of just coming and going! The rooms are clean but a little worn, location wasn't ideal but I did pick it based off the address and didn't look as close as I normally would if it was a trip for fun. Id stay again. The staff really made my rating a 5!

This is always my go-to hotel when in Richmond. We had a leak in the bathroom ceiling in the morning. The staff reacted promptly and professionally. We were moved to another room. Highly recommended.

My fiancé and I stayed overnight on 12/12 to 12/13 as we made our drive down to Florida. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Lots of convenient food options and a Starbucks nearby. They are also pet friendly which we really appreciated! Most of all, the staff, (Benjamin-I hope I remembered his name correctly) was amazing, so thoughtful and helpful! I wanted to thank him personally but did not see him when we left! Highly recommend this hotel.

Stopped here from Maine on our way to Florida last week, as I had to be with my Mom during a difficult time. It was very late by the time we checked in but we had no issues. Our room was clean, comfortable and just what we needed for the night. We've stayed with Hyatt before, a few years ago in White Plains NY, so we know what to expect from the brand, and it didn't let us down. Thank you for making a long trip a little less stressful.

Pleasant stay. The facility is clean, room AC im worked well, bed was comfortable and exhaust fan worked well. Lots of good food options ( Pepe’s offered authentic Mexican food). Breakfast was wide ranging and plentiful. Staff was very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful. So glad we chose to stay here. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, lobby was clean and over all experience was outstanding.

My stay was amazing to say the least ! I was traveling for my birthday. We stayed for two nights. The room was very clean and spacious. The location is perfect it’s very close to restaurants , gas stations , and a starbucks down the street. The main highlight is them allowing room reservations under the age of 21. It is so hard now to find hotels that do so. They allowed me to enjoy my birthday weekend. The pool was very clean. We loved the couch and the size of the TV. The beds were very soft. Beautiful hotel i will definitely be returning !

The location was great. Room cleaning on demand made me question how clean the rooms and sheets were. Breakfast was burritos every day we stayed which needs switched up.

Internet speed was good. I could work remotely on it.

Clean, quiet, comfortable overnight accommodations. King Suite with office chair, desk, and L-shaped sofa sectional was very clean and updated with modern amenities and furnishings. Great fast in room wifi. Big plus to
this hotel is that Quiet hours are enforced starting at 9pm which is wonderful considering some of the other hotels we stay at when we come for weekends have a tendency to be over-run with kids travel baseball, softball, and soccer teams. This usually means doors slamming at all hours of the night, and loud running and playing up and down the halls. However, that is not the case for this hotel. Check-in was fast and convenient, and there is
plenty of parking at this location. Lots of restaurants options in close proximity, as well as places to shop if you forgot something or need to make a last minute purchase. We will definitely be staying here again, as we come up to Richmond at least once a month or more. Perhaps next time we will have the opportunity to try the in house restaurant so I can post a review of that as well.

Nothing fancy but in a world where we've lost just providing solid service, this place was a breath of fresh air. Fairly priced, large room, nicely furnished and renovated, great breakfast with nice options and a cool lobby bar to order drinks and food at night. A throw back to the old days.

I had a fantastic experience at Hyatt Place Richmond/Arboretum. The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The staff was wonderful. I especially want to highlight an employee - Benjamin. He went above and beyond each and every day of my stay. He was very courteous and answered all of my questions and he provided excellent customer service.
