This isn't the largest hardware store on the island but it's our favorite. The staff is super nice and helpful and they have pretty much everything you need with a very casual vibe.

Go out to the yard, pick up your 2x4s and sheet goods, throw them in the truck and then go inside to grab your other items and just let them know what you picked up in the yard. The guys on site will help load up if you need it.

It's easy to create an account to get a small discount. Great resource for the south end of the island.

Not always easy to get in and out of, but the selection of products and the helpful staff are awesome. If you thought you needed to go to Oak Harbor for something, you probably don't. Hanson's probably has it and for the same price or cheaper. The hidden gem here is they can order in things if they do not have it in stock. I needed very specific metal roofing and trim. They ordered it and delivered it to our place. Worked perfectly! So if you do not see it, ask!
