Freeland Park

Great place to sit down, relax and watch the ocean roll gently in and out. Don't forget to look up into the evergreen trees because we have 2 resident eagles that are very photogenic.🦅🦅

Beautiful view. Worth the stop. Be careful with the dock as it’s under repair.

We watch a couple dig for class and had a nice picnic.

My kids love the new and improved play area, and I love that it's on the beach. Definitely recommend bringing a coat just in case because it can get a bit chilly when the wind picks up.

Very nice park, by the way. Meet up with some friends and had a good time. Enjoyed watching the surfers 🏄‍♂ and boats.

A wonderful little park. The kids have a great time playing here. Has a beautiful view of the bay.

Fun little spot. Playground, picnic and restrooms, though they were closed for winter. Porta Potty though. Boat launch and a old dock.

I love the area and especially enjoy watching the eagles and crows 🦅

Is a great place to go and let the kids play at the park, but watch out when the rain high tides and bad weather play a roll.

This is a go-to spot when we visit the island. The playground is fun and there are picnic places with lots of benches.

This is a great park. The only downside is that when the tides become high and start to splash, they start to flood the park. But other than that, it's a great place to have lunch and hang out with your kids.

Peaceful spot with great views 🥰 Large, stationery. secure marine wreckage to climb on. Two picnic tables next to the water make this the perfect spot for outdoor dining. Bathroom facility was being upgraded and under renovation. Look for beach glass☺🌈🤩🦉

When I get together with my Grand daughter we buy lunch the park at Freeland park and eat while visiting and discussing various things. The place is quiet and has great view out to the Salish Sea and today there were even container ships anchored out there.

This is an unpretentious handy getaway overlooking the sound convenient to Freeland. On our third day visiting Whidbey island and craving ice cream we got lucky because the truck came by!
The park is clean with plenty of facilities barbecues picnic tables etc. There's a boat launch. There are restrooms. Plenty of parking. Hope that you enjoy it. Great place to go have your bagged lunch.

Saw ducks, seagulls, bald eagle and deer on my walk to the park. Wish they had trash recipticals.
