Star Store Basics

This store has a clean open feeling for being a small space with lots of great selections from tea to supplements, candles to cards. I have had nothing but great service for many years of using it. It has items that I don't think you can find anywhere else on the island and the prices are competitive. I have purchased many a gift there too. Remember to respect the employees and not expect them to administer medical advice or recommend a specific product to you. They know the stock well but it is our responsibility to self educate and make our own choices.

Nice selection of supplements, candles, soaps, teas, tea ware and other gift items. Friendly.

Our family knows we can get quality products at this store & some seasoned knowledge that has been very helpful. This isn’t Nordstrom so appreciate the personalities for who they are & respect the very wonderful character of Langley if your coming for a visit

It is a nice little store they carry products a lot of stores don't. Some unique finds.

Been in this store twice and both times the lady that works there was up top. First time she said hello but we did not hear her and she took awhile to come down to check us out. Second time she was on the phone and I know she saw me cause I looked at her. She finally came down and was like you should have said hello! First of all I am the customer I shouldn't have to get your attention to check me out second if you are going to be up there put a bell out or when you see customers get your butt down and help out! Horrible customer service and will not be back

It’s my boyfriend & I’s first time to Whidbey Island and Langley. This was the first store we stopped at & as we were browsing the items, my boyfriend picked up the small handheld massage roller ball & the older woman in the shop immediately made a comment to him saying, “Oh, collecting DNA are we? I’ll just sanitize it. Theres only a pandemic going on!”

There were no signs that we saw stating not to touch anything.

We immediately felt both uncomfortable and not welcomed. Needless to say we won’t be back. :(

Very disappointed. Asked the girl a question and her reply was “I dunno.” Asked her another question and got the same reply “I dunno.” That was enough for me. Thanks to Angie I will not return.
