Grit Coffee, Libbie Grove

The ladies at Grit Coffee on Libbie were wonderful. I had to rush out but they made the yummiest almond milk latte and it was so pretty. The ambience was cool and casual and nice enough for professional meetings but also cool enough to spend time reading a book on a day off. They were both so kind. I’ll be back soon.

First time visit but long time fan! Coming from cville it was a welcomed site to see Grit Coffee! Each grit has their own feel and flavor. Still best breakfast in cville downtown! This grit however was simple but charming and open. Barista was super kind, warm, and efficient! Asked a few questions on what I should get and recommendations and she did not disappoint. Excited with the move to visit this location more!

I literally won't go anywhere else. The baristas there have my order down to a T (sugar free caramel iced latte with light ice) the coffee always taste so fresh , I love them sm 🥹🫶🏾

First visit here after visiting Grit Coffee in Charlottesville 2 weeks ago for the first time. They didn’t disappoint! My first real cup of coffee in Richmond in 2 years. I hope everyone that enjoys a true cup of coffee supports these guys. I truly relished every sip until it was gone.

We love Grit! Of all the coffee shops in the area, it’s by far our favorite. They have great quality coffee, their seasonal concoctions are generally quite fun and delicious, and overall is a nice vibe. This particular location has an odd and tiny parking lot but there’s also street parking and other options nearby.

Great coffee! If you like light roast coffee, I recommend the "Mexico" roast. This business is welcoming to its customers; Shay goes above and beyond with her service to the customer. I appreciate her kindness and warm personality. Please take a little time to stop and support this business. 🤙☕

Cappuccino is the right size, they have Oatly, espresso over ice is tasty. Clean space.

Nice, modern ambiance with soft music in the background. Quite a few people inside reading or working on laptops. Paid almost $7 for my iced lavender latte, which felt pricey, but it was perfect!

Places my order from the car when I was only a minute away. By the time I got there my order was ready and it was delicious. First time in RVA but I’ve been to Grit Coffee in Charlottesville and their service and coffee are always excellent!

Love this sweet little libbie spot! I’ve been in before but today came to use my Richmond Experience member perk for a free latte! So kind. Maria was friendly and welcoming and even helped me out when I realized I left my mask in the car and provided one for me. She recommended the salted caramel latte with oat milk and it did not disappoint! Really good caramel and coffee flavor without being watery the way oat milk can sometimes be. I can’t wait to come back again soon! A+ addition to this cute neighborhood.

I had a seamless mobile order and pickup experience. Their sausage egg breakfast sandwich was hot and tasty, and the latte I ordered was delicious as well. Their pickup table was very easy to locate, unlike some other places I’ve been during the pandemic. Will be back!

The prices here are hard to beat; I got a large americano with oat milk and vanilla flavor for under 4 dollars. Incredible! The barista was also so friendly and helpful. I have recently bought an espresso machine and she helped me with choosing the right beans and even grinded them up to make the perfect espresso grounds! I will definitely be coming back!

For a while now, we've been needing a good, dedicated coffee shop in the Westhampton area and I'm so happy Grit has opened up their RVA location here. Their coffee on its own is wonderful and the crafted drinks (lattes, mochas, fogs, etc) and great as well. The staff were very kind and the atmosphere is fun and lively. Though it's only to-go for right now, I'm excited for a day where we can hang out at Grit, working on projects or meeting friends. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Highly recommend Grit! The staff is warm and friendly and the iced coffee is divine. There aren’t a ton of food options, but what they do have (pasties and simple breakfast sandwiches) are tasty. Patio is great in the spring/summer.

Nice barista, great lavender latte. It was so good that I ordered a second one to go. I didn't know there was a such thing as a decaf or half-caf latte until today.

A great place to sip a hot drink, have a good pastry or biscuit, and get some reading done or work on your laptop. Lovely, nice people behind the counter. Highly recommend Grit Coffee :)

Ok... Thank God it is not a Starbucks... I was greeted by an incredibly upbeat and friendly girl.. she explained all the coffees to me served mine with no delay. I am definitely going back. Any coffee affecionato will do themselves justice by going to Grit coffee

The coffee here is amazing! Every time I go I get wonderful service and my drink is made to my liking. The staff is nice and welcoming and I will only be coming to Grit for my coffee!

Great atmosphere, delicious coffee! I met Dallas, who was super friendly. A must stop if you're in the area of Libbie and Grove, I'll definitely be back!
