Angelo's of Bellevue

Bellevue doesn't have a lot of restaurants with history still around. So much of what's available is new, so whatever managed to stick around through the years is pretty special. Angelo's, in Bellevue since 1976, has been serving delicious Italian food in a charming atmosphere for decades. Food is delicious, service is super friendly and personal, and the restaurant is very cozy. I loved the high-backed booths that make you feel you're having an intimate dinner without anyone else there. Pastas we had were great, and I'm not normally a tiramisu fan, but the one at Angelo's was awesome. Also a nice selection of grappa and amari. Highly recommend a visit.

This place is AMAZING! We had a large group looking for a place to eat pretty last minute. When we called to see if they could take us, they welcomed us with open arms, even though we would be coming in 45 minutes until closing. The food was the best, authentic Italian, the portions was perfect, and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I'm so glad we found this place! We will definitely be visiting again the next time we're in Bellevue!

Stopped in for dessert only after a birthday dinner for someone else. They were so very accommodating to seat 7 of us right before closing. We had lemon cellos, oh my goodness, they were delicious!!! Can't wait to visit again and go there for dinner! Highly recommend!

A very nice place with good food and good service. Both the bartender and waitress introduced themselves and asked our names. Everything was great. Much more comfortable atmosphere than some other bars in the area.

I came here because I was looking for somewhere in Bellevue to have Italian food and I was really surprised with how much I enjoyed it here. The seafood chowder was delicious and I also really enjoyed the pasta- both my boyfriends and my own! Haha. I also really enjoyed that they have a variety of desserts to choose from. The lemon sorbet is my personal favorite.

June 2023- Had dinner here on Friday, still top notch. Everything about this place is amazing. If you live in the area, visiting from out of town, go and enjoy a relaxing delicious meal, you won’t be disappointed.

4yrs ago- Five Stars... Four of us went to dinner last night and I asked each person to rate everything about their evenings experience. All agreed the same 5 stars. Two of us ordered the special Black spaghetti with seafood, One ordered Angel hair pasta with a tomato cream sauce with chicken and the last ordered the other dish seen in the pictures. I can't remember the name but it was really good. We all tried each others meals, so now we know other items we like too. Then we finished the night with carrot cheesecake, tiramisu, creme brulee and cappuccinos. Pure heaven, they make a great cappuccino made me miss France. We have all eaten at Angelo's over the years, more times then we can all count on our fingers and toes, but this is my first review. We have never had bad service or a bad meal. If your looking for a great night out, Angelo's is the place. Every item is perfectly described on the menu and worth a try.

Went for my birthday dinner with my 3 kids. The waiter and waitress were so lovely and patient. We had a crying toddler but they were kind to my kids and spoke to them on their level. Food was delicious (we got their spaghetti, ravioli, fettuccine, and steak). Would highly recommend.

We celebrated New Year's Eve with a family dinner at Angelo's tonight. Our server Destinee was fantastic! She recommended the calamari and tomato bruschetta which we demolished. Our favorite meals were the chicken saltimbocca and the seafood cannello. I would take off half a star for the salmon dish which was a little over cooked and plain tasting. The cannelloni al forno was also good. We ordered the Italian cheesecake which was light and delicious. We also enjoyed the chocolate eclair cake and tiramisu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and return in the near future.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I bring my friends and family who com to town. I can never remember the guy's name who seats us but he’s so accommodating and always remembers me. Best food ever!!!

Delicious Italian food at this iconic Bellevue restaurant. Family owned and a trustworthy standout for more than 40 years. We always sit in the bar and tonight was no exception. The dimly lit, wood paneled room is just the cozy space you’re searching for on a rainy Saturday night. The hockey game was on two of the big screens and the bartender let me manage the remote. Locals sat at the bar and an old school clientele was scattered throughout in the huge leather chairs. The Chicken Fettuccine in Gorgonzola sauce was exceptional, as was the Eggplant Parmigiana. The House Montepulciano was just what I was looking for, big and dry and easy to drink. At the end, we treated ourselves to the fluted Limoncello because, well, why not? There’s a patio too, perfect for warm summer nights. Highly recommended, unpretentious, neighborhood staple. Susan Says…leave the gun, take the cannolis! 🍝🇮🇹

Stopped in and had no idea we were about to have a new favorite spot. I ordered the special at the time osso buco and it was so delicious. The place feels family comfortable and authentic not a modern “try hard” type restaurant. I would definitely recommend this for some really good Italian food! :)

Jud was a fantastic bartender and surprise server, she made us feel like family. The drinks and food were amazing, there were clean plates all around, even our pickiest eater cleared her plate. The seafood canneloni was delicious. Thank you to the cooks and thank you Jud!!! Didn’t get any pics of the food because it didn’t last long it was too delicious.

Oh man. If i could rate this place higher, I would.

This place was as good as most of them, and better than many.

I'm not exaggerating.

When I return to Seattle, I hope this place is still there because I'm going back for sure.

One can't lose here. My wife and I have been comming here for years and have never been disappointed.
If I were asked for recomendations my first would be the sausage and pepper. It includes three homemade sausages. A mild, regular and spicy. The clear sauce is awsome and the peppers and onions not over sautéed.
One can never lose with the specials.
The wine list is loaded with wines from all over the world including great local wineries.
You can't lose here and the service takes one back to family dinners.

I love this place. I've been traveling for work in Seattle a lot recently and Angelo's has turned into a favorite. The food is amazing, and best of all, you can tell all the staff care so much. Everyone is warm and attentive and very helpful (which for me is required with so many choices of Italian wine).

We don’t eat Italian often, but this totally hit the spot. The rabbit liver/fig jam crostini was probably my favorite, followed by the cheese ravioli.

Classic home style Italian food. Pasta (linguini and clams) was delicious and dessert was awesome. Bravo! Second visit: tried the weekend special black ink pasta which came with salad. Delicious! The baked eggplant was divine and tiramisu was excellent. This is not the place to count calories. Eat and enjoy! Small suggestion: the chef can consider a little more on presentation. The plates are a bit dated. Overall 5 stars.
