Cornerstone Church

Messages are based on scripture. Pastors are credentialed and approachable. The music is contemporary and average. People are very friendly and welcoming. Several courses and programs are offered, especially small groups. The four generation and culturally diverse congregation is unique in the community and a definite asset. Leadership is sound. Community programs are among the best in Chesterfield County.

This was a great experience for me and my family. The worship was not a concert so you could hear yourself sing. The message given by Pastor Shawn was self-reflecting and gave me pause to think that it was meant for me. We will most likely be back

My husband and I walked in one day a few months ago, as we were looking for a new church, and immediately felt welcomed. Everyone is so happy and friendly and the sermons really speak to us every week. We have been attending weekly since and have participated in some of the small groups that meet. Cornerstone is just what we needed.

A true Christ centered diverse church, full of loving people who are dedicated to serve regardless of anyones background. They have a ministry internationally (health clinic in Ethiopia), right here (Shady Hill Trailer park) and within their congregation (Small Groups). Spirit filled, but balanced by doctrine. A church that has planted two other churches within 5-6 years. They have a program for the hearing impaired, for parents, and is bilingual. Their worship music is beautiful and moving.

After moving to this area, we visited several churches before we came to Cornerstone. My wife, kids, and I have felt very at home here, and it was the first church in which we received a welcome letter from the pastor and the children's pastor. The church is very diverse, with three languages, which is something that we prayed for and sought on our way to Virginia. It truly captures the picture of our local community and world. God is honored, worship is beautiful, Holy Spirit is not ignored, and it's a great group of folks. I encourage you to visit.

This is my church home and church family for the past 20 yrs. An amazing church with Godly leadership, discipleship, small groups to connect to, inspired teachings and love and support. If you are looking for a church home, give Cornerstone a try. I absolutely love being a part of this church family! They teach and disciple from nursery to seniors and all in between. There's a place to connect for everyone.

Wonderful church! My husband and I had looked and visited many churches in the area when we moved from Texas a few years ago.When we visited Cornerstone,the welcome was so sweet and real,we never left.We connected with groups our age,and have so many close friends than the years in Texas.We dearly love our church,Cornerstone is wonderful!

Awesome place to fellowship and worship HIM. Took my boys and didn't know the process for signing them in and getting them into classes. Young woman by the name of Hannah jumped right in to help get us straight and on our way to class and service. Boys loved class and I thoroughly enjoyed the sermon.

Healthy and loving atmosphere, Bible believing and following church leaders who care for the congregation! Wonderful place of worship!

I really enjoy their services. When I first stepped through the doors I was greeted with Love, warmth, and friendly faces. The teach the word of God without sugar coating it. If you are looking for a church family look no further than Cornerstone Assembly of God!
