As a resident of the area, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pleasants hardware, and I must say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the level of professionalism, knowledge, and organization that was on display.

I went in with a relatively simple request - to purchase some two-cycle fuel and perhaps look into buying a part for my Stihl blower. However, the manager went above and beyond to ensure that I was fully informed about my options and all the features available. She patiently explained everything to me and made sure that I was comfortable with my decision to purchase a new, larger model instead.

What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the commitment to customer service that I witnessed during my visit. Not only did the manager ensure that I got an extended warranty with my purchase, but the sales specialist even filled up the tank and gave me a lesson on how to operate it.

Overall, I would highly recommend Pleasants hardware to anyone looking for a top-notch shopping experience. The knowledge, professionalism, organization, and cleanliness of the store were truly impressive, and it made my visit so much easier and more enjoyable. With their stellar customer service, it's easy to see why they are such a popular destination for hardware and home improvement needs in the area.

Needed a house key as somehow mine fell off my key ring somewhere. We waited while the guy was helping someone else but he provided fantastic customer service once he was free. Thanks for being close to home and always a friendly atmosphere.

Pleasants has always been my go-to hardware store, long before the big chain stores were even a thing. The customer service, staff knowledge and extensive selection of items always keeps us coming back. Their longevity alone should speak for itself.

I was looking for firewood and an awesome women named Monica told me where it was! She called back and they had it ready when I went back really back! She also helped me find a lighter for the camp fire. She even gave me a free popcorn and brought it to me! It’s the little things and awesome staff that set this place apart from others! The other customers were really nice too and I loved the community in there! Plus the old fashioned candy and bbq sauces and fun gifts were cool! Awesome patio setup and small plant display! Give a raise and high five to Monica she really is the best!

It’s a small local store, so you don’t spend hours in there looking for something employees are friendly and helpful. And you get a free popcorn when they got fresh popcorn popping.

It's not a big box store, so I didn't expect much, yet this little hardware store impresses me every time I go in. I have needed special size screws (their screw/nut/bolt display is SO well organized), A water line cut-off wrench, shrink tubing, drill bit oil, braided-cable clamps and other pretty-obscure items. I have found them all at this place. Pretty impressive.

Staff member asked if I needed assistance....words which I rarely hear at other stores. The associate went right to the item I was looking for and the price was just right. I also found a couple products I could certainly utilize. Customer friendly and a free bag of popcorn!!!!!! Will continue to make this place my first stop.

Even though my key could not be made the two gentleman were nice enough to direct me to another vendor that was able to assist . I am so grateful. The drive to the next location was a walk in the park. Thank you, thank you. One less thing for me to take care of. I made sure to let the vendor know Pleasants Hardware sent me.

The employees at this hardware store are amazing. Always helpful and knowledgeable. I must look like a deer in the headlights every time I go, because someone quickly comes to my rescue. With an ambiguous description of what I need, they know what I'm talking about, and where to find it. Love love love this store

In hardware, Pleasant cannot be beaten. That special bolt, that tiny screw. Tool.
Don't waste your time going somewhere else.

Very helpful. I did not have to ask for assistance. In fact, a young man offered to help as I walked my 1st 10 steps into the store. He stayed with me until a solution my need was found. Impressive! Management has cultivated a strong service culture at that store.

I had to go to the store 3 times after my purchase. Justin and Gary went out I their way to resolve the issues w/the staple gun I purchased. I left a satisfied customer! Thank you to both of for their patience & going that extra mile for me!

Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Having a quick place to grab small hardware items is very helpful when the other bigger stores are farther away. The prices are a little higher here than the box store alternatives but the service is more personable.

This store is a little more expensive than the big box stores, but the customer service is extraordinary. You are greeted as soon as you enter and are immediately asked if you need help finding anything. If you have a question about a product, the employees actually know the answer and have knowledge about what they sell. I would recommend this store.

I came in to look for some metric screws on the off chance they would have them, and they did. I think they may have a better total selection of hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) than your standard big box store. I would come here before driving all the way down to route 1.

I've been trying to get copies made of a travel trailer key and was not able to do so at Lowe's or home depots and was referred to Pleasants. There were plenty of staff to assist and two of them got involved in making a key for me. It's a double toothed key. They went above and beyond. I don't know yet whether or not the key will work and they didn't make any promises because they were improvising. I have not been to the trailer yet to try it out. But the staff were very friendly and definitely did their best to help in a difficult situation of getting an RV key made.
