Spectator pastries. We got several really good ones. However, the croissant eclair (pictured) was mind-blowingly delicious.
Their Brazilian Iron Clad coffee is really good and pair really well with the pastries.
The owners are really welcoming and super nice. They even provide blocks for our kids to play with as we enjoy the rest of our pasties and coffee.
Thank you for a great experience.

Wow!! We got the savory pies at the farmers market and they were incredible. The pastry was crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside with thoughtfully seasoned fillings. Can’t wait for more!

Neighborhood Gem, Excellent Pastries. They make the best kouign ammans we've found on the East Coast. Try them, you'll love them!

I am so happy to live near Red Cap Patisserie and that they extended their hours! I absolutely love their tourtieres (savory hand pies) with my favorites being the chicken & bacon pea, and the shiitake shallot cream. Pork and plum & pear, also so good. Okay, so I've had them all (including the new curry veggie) and love them all. Friendliest staff and owners you could ever encounter. The sweets are very good as well, but my taste buds lean savory.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend and was totally delighted with it. We had a ham and cheese croissant and a cinnamon swirl pastry with cream cheese icing. Super yum! And the staff took the time to help figure out whether there was an ingredient that I’m allergic to.

The only suggestion I have is to put out a sheet of known allergens in the ingredients, so the staff doesn’t have to spend that time. Otherwise, a perfect little bakery cafe. Will definitely return, like daily. 😀

Ate my food so fast I forgot to take pictures for the review. Ate two different savory pies, a chicken and pea and a potato and bacon and they were both ridiculous. Parents got some of their soup and a ham and cheese pastry and have high praise. Price is somewhat high but you're paying for hand crafted goods that are obviously made with love and a lot of skill.

This is a small bakery which appears to be set up more for cooking than service, but there are a few tables. It's cute and the staff was nice, but most importantly, the baked goods were amazing. My son said it was the best brownie he ever had, and he eats lots of brownies!

We went back for more a week later and it was equally amazing.

I have seen this place every day driving home. I happened to stop by and snuck into the soft opening. The food is AWESOME. I bought an oatmeal almond raisin cookie, a bacon cheddar scone, an almond swirl pastry, a chicken potato pie, and a beef pie. I tried one pie right as I got in the car, and all but the cookie is left from my 5 minute drive home.

Great new find. I will be going back and I reccomend you do as well!

Update: The cookie is gone and was so good I am thinking about walking back up there to get another.

AMAZING PLACE with great food, nice people, and clean place. Great place for people in the car, since there is a 7/11 parking lot across the street. The food is excellent and the place is cute. The food is slightly on the pricier side, but completely worth it. I know the treats are fresh, because I see them being baked when I stop by in the mornings! All in all, a wonderful place with great style and great food! Definitely worth stopping by.

The owner was so welcoming! The pastries were delicious along with the coffee. I really liked the decor as well. This feels like a place that you could "become a regular" at because of the delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and great service.

Cannot say enough nice things about this place. The savory options are amazing. My favorite is the beef and onion. The curry vegetable is my go to for a veggie fix. The flavors are intense and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Holy cow. My daughter and I got one each of four different pies to try them. Going to have to do it again because I couldn't tell which was my favorite!! :)

Edit: We have now eaten here numerous times and I also ordered 50 pies for an event that my family group participated in. The pies were just as delicious cold and I think I have now hooked at least 20 more people on them.

Just had the beef and caramelized onion savory pie and I recommend it. This is a bakery after all and the puff pastry around the filling is the star of the show and the star did not disappoint. I look forward to trying the other savory pies and sweet treats too.

Rarely is there a “Perfect Place”, but Red Cap is that for me: great feel walking in, SPECTACULAR pastries and pies, and every person greets you with a friendly hello. My favorites are below:

Kouign-amann
Ham and Cheese
Beef savory pie
Chocolate croissant

I don’t know how they do it, but they have been 100% consistent in quality, which I know must be difficult with handmade, speciality pastries.

They really have it down and I am so glad they are part of the neighborhood.

All the savories I’ve had there are just perfect! The crust is flaky and buttery. The cheeses, ham, spinach, mushrooms...all complement wonderfully. Run, don’t walk. Makes a cozy, delicious Saturday or Sunday morning!

We need more places like this. It is high quality quality food at a good price. Today I had the shittake tortierre which was so good that I am considering starting a (small) religion for its proper worship. I also had the lentil soup which was excellent, though only in merely terrestrial way. Overall it made for a medium-light lunch for $8.50. Not cheap by any stretch, but worth it and under the $10 barrier.

You *could* eat here. There are a couple of tables, but it looks like more of a to-go place.

SAVORY HAND PIES... I thought I would never taste anything better than the Pork Plum Pear pie... but then I tried the Chicken Bacon Pea pie and the heavens did open up and the world of man did rejoice for the entire 5 minutes I savored it. That being said, my girlfriend prefers the Potato Cheddar Onion and Shiitake Shallot Cream pies.

After my first visit I'm absolutely charmed by this super fresh and delicious patisserie. Great location, a genuinely nice staff, and delectable sweet and savory food. I will definitely be taking my friends and family to this spot!
