Penny Lane Pub

My food was a little on the crispy side (cooked too long, burned on the ends) but I still enjoyed this place. I will give it another try. I do like "overcooked" dishes believe it or not and did enjoy the sausage roll and patsy but will come again to try it "right". My server was super friendly and welcoming. Like I've already said, I will be back. Oh if you like Beatles memorabilia this is your place. Also the bar side is separate from the "dining area which some might find nice. Super fun football side and chill side. I liked that!. I did park right outside on the street. You do have to pay for street parking, $2 for 2 hours. Can do it with an app or right there at the kiosk.

Loved this pub! The food was bloody good! I'm pretty sure the sausage was cased in house. I loved the coziness and trinkets and art everywhere. I will definitely be coming back with my British MIL!

We love coming here for a fun hangout spot! Upstairs is more rowdy with fun games like pool and darts. Downstairs is more sit down and quieter! Great prices and we always have a great time!

This is one of my favorite places in town. Really cozy place with excellent food and drinks. It’s called Penny lane, so expect British vibes, with Liverpool FC and Beatles banners all over the place - which I’m a big fan of. The staff are super friendly and their food is great

Wonderful place!! Food is delicious! The workers are wonderful and the service was very fast. The place was so cute and fit the “London scene”. I got the Will and Kate plate for an appetizer and the Cottage Pie for my meal. Absolutely delicious!!! I will be coming back!!

One of the more true pub experiences I've had in the US. Excellent food,solid beer selection, super nice staff (Joe was awesome). Will definitely go back whenever I'm in Richmond

What a cool place. The food was generously portioned, quite tasty and reasonably priced.

The decor is a must see if you are a Beatles fan.

Cool English Pub vibe. The food was excellent and our server was great. Mugs hanging from the ceiling and a ton of memorabilia on the walls.

This is a fun place! Lively atmosphere, friendly staff, great menu, great drinks and delicious food. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. There are Trivia Pursuit cards on the table which is fun. The food is good. Vegetarian sausage roll was good, nice to see a unique vegetarian dish on a menu. This is a great place for dinner.

The decor is so cute. Bit of a wait but it was Friday night. Service was good he answered my many questions. Loved my pint had the cider/stout combo pint. Our table devoured their food so yes delicious. Will be back for trivia night.

We visited the Penny Lane Pub in Richmond, Virginia, for dinner. The service was great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was brilliant, and I would definitely recommend this pub!

Went here 3 times over the course of 3 days for a nearby work convention, really enjoyed myself and definitely recommend as the area is super dead passed like 10pm and this was open till 2am, had a great time enjoying all the decor to look at, my favorite thing was the Tardis police box from Dr who in the bathroom 😎 haha
They also do karaoke on their second story!
Prices are very good also for the area. Definitely go check this place out!

Fish and chips were fried perfectly. The grilled cheese and the cider were both delicious!

Great food, excellent service, and love the atmosphere! Even better if you go on a Wednesday night and do trivia upstairs with Ben and Patrick! Best trivia I've found in Richmond!!

Great first visit. French onion soup was superb and the curry fries were such a unique find. Can’t beat the Christmas lights or the baby Guinness shots either.

The atmosphere at the Penny Lane is great. The food was good. Not stellar but good. Our small group thoroughly enjoyed being there for mid week dinner after a long work day.

Overall awesome experience. Asked the bartender for a tequila something cuz I'm not picky he said I got you and came back with a damn good drink. Don't recall his name but he had a long braided beard that was pretty dope.

Quirky and unique place to have a pint and some bar food. I ordered fish and chips and spinach dip; both were good. They have good variety of beers, however I wish their beer menu was a little more descriptive. Our server Dan was friendly, entertaining, and prompt.

The food was delicious, the wait staff were friendly. I loved the cider. I'm glad I went here for my first lunch in Richmond. Will definitely be back! Also, it's very clean for tje amount of decorations. Normally restaurants with a lot of knick knacks are dusty, but that's not the case here.
