The Virginia Shop

This store is located inside The Library of Virginia. It’s open on Monday’s although the library is closed. The young woman (Willy) working was so very friendly and knowledgeable about items in store.

There is a great selection of gift items, books, t-shirts and much more. They even have an area for young children with books and stuffed animals. I bought a hand puppet that was on sale. Too cute yo pass up!

I’m so glad that have this store and was able to purchase souvenirs. Otherwise, it would have been a complete wasted trip to library.

Nice! Enjoyed the visit.

We drove out of the way to come to this store at 1030 this morning to buy a few items. The nice front desk lady went in and asked the lady if we can come in and she said they were only allowing people who made an appointment at the library to visit. Doesn’t say that on the site or anywhere. If it did, we would not have drove there. No one was in the shop and I’m sure employee wanted to go back to watch tv or play on her phone.

The owner might want to consider giving someone else a job or updating the website if that is the policy.
