VCU Dental Care

I am glad I was referred to VCU Dentistry, It has been a great experience. I have had to have a lot of dental work done. With more to go. They are very caring and make sure you know what they need to do.

This was the most professional dental practice I’ve seen in a long time. Very pleased with how I was treated. Would recommend all friends and family. Five stars for your excellent service

I became a patient at the Dental School at VCU in July 2022. We are very fortunate to have such a world class school in VA that citizens can apply for treatment & Dental care in our area. They General Dentistry and Oral Surgery School has given me the ability to smile again. I was unable to receive this result from the providers in Hampton Roads.
Update; it’s now February 2024 the consistency of the excellent patient/customer service throughout the Dental School building is amazing!
March 29th, had my visit with my graduating student Denist Dr. Stephanie Lin where my complete Dentures where delivered. This was an exciting day for me! OMG she did a beautiful job and worked with me to make sure they were a comfortable & correct. This took time but at each part of the process I was as not rushed. It was as all about my comfort & correct fit. I’m thrilled with the end result! Thank you Dr. Lin for giving me back my smile! As she embarks on her Dental career with the practice she is joining this Summer she will be successful with her patients. Her determination and compassion shown to patients really excels. She is a Rockstar to me! Thank you to VCU for this program and for the consistent excellent customer service throughout your facilities!

The entire staff are knowledgeable and offer transparency in future dental plans plus pricing for specific services.

I've always had an excellent experience at the VCU School of dentistry. They're very concerned about whether you're in pain or not when they're doing procedures on your teeth and gums. The attending dentist is always exceptionally nice and knowledgeable

Virginia who got us registered was amazing! She was so kind and went out of her way to make sure my father in law was comfortable! Lakeshia the oral surgery secretary was amazing! Kind and on point! There was a wait throughout the day but when you are in pain you’ll do anything to get it fixed!

Wes and Raj are student dentists that did such an amazing job!! Raj realized right away my father in law was having a hard time communicating so he had someone bring me back. Raj was kind and compassionate. He wanted to make sure everything was okay due to my father in law’s history of strokes. Wes came in and mentioned Ray Charles glasses to put on him and my father in law loves that. Wes offered to put on some music during the procedure! These gentlemen are going to be amazing dentists/oral surgeons!!

Staff, Students and residents at vcu dental clinic Are fantastic. They are kind and dedicated and sincerely interested in helping patients!

The process is sometimes slow but if you have the time and don't have insurance or like me insurance doesn't cover all of what you need done..this can save you a lot of money and they are state of the art!!

Every single staff member you come into contact with are beautiful inside out. They are all compassionate, caring, thorough, and really go that extra mile to make sure your taken care of and comfortable.

All of VCU Health System is a blessing. They are so wonderful overall and their professionals really care.

My grandmother is a patient and raved about how wonderful her student dentist Ahmad was. He was incredibly professional and warm, and went above and beyond to make her comfortable from her great dental services to escorting her to grab coffee during her wait. I just had to leave a review because clearly Ahmad is an A ++ dentist and person.

What I thought would be a more challenging visit due to a downtown location, became easy, encouraging and positive. Its never fun to go to a dentist. I had a little anxiety going in but everyone from security, admin staff, admissions and finally the dentist was caring and supportive answering my questions and addressing my needs. The appointment process was super easy over the phone and after my consultation and procedure when I left, my parking claim ticket was validated. This is a teaching hospital so there are a lot of patients and students. I will be back! Thank you for a positive experience and a happier smile 😊

They are a great place to get dental work staff very friendly and take good care of you

I was referred by my Dentist to the Dental school to evaluate if a root canal was needed. Upon arrival everyone was courteous, pleasant, professional and personable. From the front desk staff to the Dental students and professors, everyone worked well together and were affable and accommodating. I am very pleased with my treatment and highly recommend them.

This is a great place to get quality dental care at affordable prices. The Student Dentists are excellent. Patient care and comfort is a high priority. I am very grateful that I can access this care. You will be also.

I have been very happy with all the work I have had done at the VCU dental school including cleanings, fillings, and two root canals and crowns. The only downside is that it can take a much longer time than a normal dentist. But the point is to give the students the opportunity to learn, not to be in and out as fast as possible. And I really like meeting and chatting with the students.. they're great!

Great experience! I am so grateful for Jack Madigan, the student dentist who worked on my two teeth, the resident who stepped in, and the others who helped, especially the young lady who held my hand through the hardest part of the extraction. Everyone I interacted with from the ladies at the front desk to the students were super pleasant and encouraging. I was in and out fairly quickly. Thank you so much to everyone at VCU Dental School!
