Our family stayed at Linden Row Inn for our son's wedding that was at a nearby venue. We booked one of the Parlor Suites for the bride and groom and it was very spacious and beautifully furnished, and a lovely setting for the bridal party to get ready for the wedding. We booked a large corner king size room on the 4th floor that had a nice sitting area and was big enough for the groomsmen to gather and get ready. Even though our wedding block had rooms in various locations in the hotel, we still felt connected and we're always near other wedding party members. We enjoyed the courtyard in the evenings.
Communication was great with the staff and always clear and timely.
Our whole family loved our stay at Linden Row and look forward to a return trip at some point in the future.

Linden Row as an event space is amazing! Wouldn't hesitate to go back again as it was a dream come true for us. They handled everything so professionally, the site is gorgeous and the caterer they work with (Groovin Gourmet) is amazing. We had a fantastic event and loved working with Alexa

It would have been nice to have someone to help with luggage transfer. Parking was extra and about 4 blocks away and walk back. Parking cost was $15 for 24 hours. Valet parking would be nice. The rooms were very nice and CLEAN. My mattress was great. Large TV in my room. I would visit again.

What a great little hotel! It's adorable and the rooms are very comfortable. I enjoy all the Edgar Allen Poe info. Most importantly, there is Annabelle, the hotel cat, who is very sweet and friendly.

Lovely inn perfectly situated to the main street in Richmond, Broad St., and many historical sites, like the Jefferson Hotel.
Room is very comfortable, clean and the staff is welcoming. Great sitting room and restaurant/bar.

Great location. It is close to everything downtown. I loved staying here. It is a one of a kind location. The staff is friendly and decor is gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the suite and leave some time in the courtyard, rock in the rocking chairs and pet Annabel, the resident 🐈‍⬛.

Spent two restfull nights at the historic Linden Row Inn.
The intangible feel of history resides here.
You can see it in the layout and hear it in the story behind Linden Row but it's the feel that sets it apart.
Thanks to Maria with her welcoming spirit and thanks to Michael for your late night history lessons.
Don't forget to spend some time with Annabelle the resident cat. She's usually found sleeping in the front of the Inn.

Love staying here. A home away from home. The service is outstanding. Everyone that stayed here for my daughter's wedding raves about the warmth of hospitality, their huge room, the unique architectural details and historical vibe, and the location. The staff feels like part of the family. They were so kind, caring, supportive and generous with a late checkout and offer to help at different points with wedding stuff I was carrying. We love them as a family and talk about how amazing they are in their hospitality and service. It is wonderful having this place to frequently stay at in Richmond now that I don't have my own homr there anymore. When I checked out after being there almost a week with various family members and wedding guests staying there too, both of the front desk gals made a point to say goodbye and tell me how much they enjoy me and my family staying there and tell me how we are a pleasure for them because we are well mannered, polite, friendly, kind and never cause any problems and leave our rooms clean. It felt so good to hear and had me feeling so much pride. We just adore them. I told Richmond, her support and care kept me going. We also had a huge florist delivery of over and the ladies kept it safe until we were there to take upstairs. Just so sweet and wonderful. We love them as a family and all agree they make the hotel that much greater. Southern hospitality at it's finest. I am pleased to consider these wonderful ladies friends. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Annabelle is sweet too and always enjoy giving her some affection.

Also Annabelle was the best host ever!
(P.S. Annabelle is the resident cat)

In the heart of the area we needed for a Fever event only a block away. Great attached restaurant (separate review). Rooms are quaint and unique. Better than your cookie cutter hotel. Every aspect of the room was great. Much larger room than expected for comparable price. If you complain about the accommodations then historical settings are not your Forte.

I booked Linden Row Inn not only for my wedding reception, but the block of rooms for out-of-town guests. It was the perfect place for my husband and I! The hotel is historic, so it has a really lovely, romantic vibe. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, which made planning an absolute breeze. While I didn't stay at the hotel, we received lots of compliments from guests that did, which was important to us as the vast majority of our guests traveled in for our wedding. I would absolutely recommend LRI as a wedding venue!

We stayed at the Lindon Row Inn for two nights for my daughter's wedding. The Inn was exactly what we hoped for! My daughter wanted a historic vintage place to stay to have cocktails the night before her wedding and a special place to get ready in for her wedding day. She had one of the parlor suites and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was helpful and pleasant and accommodating for all of our needs.

WOW what a gem!

Linden Row Inn is truly an essential part of the Richmond visitor experience. There's so much history here in one city block, yet it holds up to the modern day visitor's needs. The Parlour Suite furnishings are true to the period, and the courtyard offers a quiet escape from the city beyond. The location is excellent for exploring the city, and even though parking isn't provided, we never had to pay for one of the spots on the street. Highly recommend it - and be sure to give Annabelle a pet for me!

TL;DR: nice hotel, good staff, cute vibe. A little disappointed in the room size but overall great experience!

We stayed two nights at this hotel, and our overall experience was very good. We booked the cheapest room they had, so that was on us for expecting it to be anything but small. When we got there, the room was very small just a bed in a room with no desk. But other than that, we were extremely happy with our stay here. We really enjoyed the garden area and the overall vibe was what we were looking for in a hotel. We also felt like the staff was really nice and overall wanted us to have a good experience. Bonus! There is a hotel cat that made the experience even better :-)

We loved our two night stay at Linden Row. The hotel is beautiful and cozy, the historic details were gorgeous. The workers were so friendly and helpful. The lady who worked the front desk (Venicia?) was incredible, so funny and made you feel like you were talking to an old friend. We couldn't get our TV to work one night at 9pm and she ran up and had it fixed within minutes. Anabelle the hotel cat is 10/10! We loved her and she made us feel at home. Highly recommend this hotel!

My girlfriend and I, recently had the privilege of staying at this charming hotel right in downtown Richmond. The moment we walked in we were greeted by a man who told us a story of how the hotel came to be. I felt like was transported back in time by the opulence of the beautiful fireplace(with marble), intricate chandeliers, and richly furnished rooms from the era. We stayed in the parlour suites where the bedding was plush and comfortable. It was like era lost. Every corner of the hotel was steeped in history and was a treat to explore. Every morning, I was greeted with a sumptuous breakfast spread by the restaurant inside. The hotel's staff was friendly and attentive, and their hospitality made my stay even more memorable as the manager(Julie I believe) personally asked us about our stay). This place made sure to help capture my girlfriend and my getaway weekend. Overall, my stay at this hotel was a truly unforgettable experience and we can't wait to stay again.

This boutique hotel has everything you want in a hotel, PLUS the beauty of history. We had a nice clean room, visited the bar, and enjoyed brunch outside. Really everything was lovely. The next time I go to Richmond, I will stay there again.

I would rather stay here over anywhere else in Richmond. They have large spacious high ceiling rooms. The bathrooms are big enough to camp out in. The beds are comfy. It’s clean. It has plenty of space for your belongings. I cannot honestly think if one thing I would improve or change.
The reception staff are friendly and helpful. I would especially like to compliment Venetia who made my daughter and I feel welcome and was willing to help with any little thing (thanks for keeping us stocked with ice!). That woman is a gem and deserves a raise!
The location is exceptional. Everything is in walking distance. And though our last visit (we stayed at a different hotel) was an expensive parking nightmare, Venetia directed us to an easy, convenient, inexpensive ($7 per day) parking garage right around the corner that we could easily get in and out of on our own.
Finally the very best part was having a resident Cat in Charge, the lovely Annabelle, who made our stay complete. 🥰
Thank you Venetia and everyone at Linden Row for making this our best trip to RVA ever. We will never stay anywhere else!
