Great fun! Loved the boat ride to and from the sandbar and then the kayaking in crystal clear water! Captain and crew were awesome! Have already made reservations for the snorkeling and sunset events. Thanks for a great time!

Sunset cruise was awesome!!

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Smooth ride. The price is very affordable comparatively (around $70). We were worried they would only serve one glass of wine but they were very liberal with the pours and kept everyone topped off. They also served chips and had soda. Sunset was very beautiful. Would recommend!

What a fantastic time this was! Been in the Keys for 5 weeks and this was the highlight! Capt. Dawn and first mate Allison were so cool. Passed around champagne throughout the 2 hour trip. Had snacks for everyone. And you can choose to bring a small cooler with your own drinks (no glass). And the music was great!

What a great time! The crew on the Marathon are so nice and knowledgeable. Did the sunset cruise and they played great music as well as provided some great information about the area. Highly recommend the Mermaid, when in Marathon! ( Did the snorkle adventure with them too. Absolutely amazing experience. )

Excellent service, so much fun and plenty of room for even a full boat. Music selection was great. Fantastic dance moves. Great choice for drinks and snacks. Definitely for anyone who wants to experience Marathon on a calm boat. Absolutely no one in board had a problem with sea sickness. Will recommend to anyone old or young.

We went on a Champagne Sunset Cruise with Dawn and Brandon. We had so much fun! 🤩 They interacted with our big group so well. It was informative🧐 as well as a blast….we learned a lot, that was great! My husband I have been on the ocean tons and have never seen a pod of dolphins 🐬 🐬🐬 as large as we did that night!! Dawn was an amazing captain and stayed right where they would follow and do tricks for the boat of people! It was truly the best night and trip we have ever been on!!! Thanks guys for such a great evening!

Had a great time on the Marathon Mermaid. Captain Doug and 1st Mate Allison were so nice and playing on the sandbar was fun. We went kayaking, and paddle boarding. Saw a shark and spotted eagle ray. I will definitely go on another one of their charters.

We had a great experience for our first time with Marathon Mermaid. We chose the Sandbar excursion and it was perfect! Captain Doug and First Mate Brandon were very personable and made sure everyone had a great time. Waters, pop/soda and snacks were provided but we also brought a small cooler of waters/Powerades just in case. It was a nice boat ride to the sandbar and once we got there, we were provided with water toys, rafts, noodles, kayaks and paddleboards. My husband had a great time with the snorkeling. I just had fun jumping and swimming with the waves. It was a windy day but the sandbar was beautiful and the water felt great! Thank you so much for an awesome trip! We look forward to booking with you again the next time we are in town.

Awesome cruise!!! The crew were engaging and knowledgable about the area. They were friendly and ensured each of the passengers were enjoying themselves. There was never an empty glass on the boat. The captain knew exactly where to be for the best sunset. I recommend the cruise to any age group.

Captain Dawn and First Mate Allison are the best! They played music and served champagne, there were snacks, they were super casual and made the whole experience so fun. Even though we didn't see any dolphins, it was a beautiful ride, and they explained everything about what we were seeing and what path we were taking. They helped us all celebrate (my birthday plus two other birthdays and an engagement on board). I would go again some day!

Had an absolute blast on this sunset tour. The views were incredible, the boat was comfortable, and the crew really made the trip. Katie and Captain Morgan were a delight and made sure everyone was having fun. Definitely recommend booking an excursion with them. If you don’t have a good time, the problem is you 😉.

Great champagne sunset cruise with Captain Dawn and Allison. First time visitors and very impressive. Great music choices, a little bit of history while cruising and dancing. We are planning another visit. Our hosts were amazing and Captain Dawn was a badass!!!(Meant in a good way!!)

We went for a sunset cruise and we were not disappointed. The captain and first mate were very informative. We saw quite a bit and the ride was absolutely beautiful. The sunset was nice, We also received a little history of the area. They made our trip very fun. Overall, just a really really wonderful trip for our anniversary.

We did two charters with Marathon Mermaid, the Sunset cruise and the Sandbar both were ah-maz-ing! The crew was great and engaging, boat was clean, and well the atmosphere breathtaking! We will certainly visit again the next time we're in Marathon!

Beautiful sunset cruise. The captain (Captain Morgan) and the crew were very professional but also entertaining. We learned a lot about Marathon’s history as well as local restaurants. We would definitely do another one. Thank you for a great time.

We were excited to see a Florida Keys sunset for our first visit here and booked a sunset cruise with Marathon Mermaid. Of course, the sun set behind the only bank of clouds to be found. We still had some amazing views which included seeing a pod of dolphins and a stingray jump straight out of the water with wings spread! Dawn and Brandon made our experience so much fun while being professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely book with Marathon Mermaid again!

A BEAUTIFUL AND SAFE AND FUN vacation adventure!
Our family had the BEST time with Allison and Dawn. We were laughing and dancing! I was a smidge nervous to have the baby on the boat but they made sure we knew they could keep us all safe.
I would recommend this cruise to anyone who asks!

We took a sunset cruise while vacationing in Key West. Dawn and Brandon were awesome hosts - very knowledgeable and kept the boat in immaculate condition. We were offered champagne, soft drinks, snacks and information about the Keys and surrounding areas. Everyone had a great time dancing to the music, taking photos and enjoying the cruise. We highly recommend this company!

Stunning views of the sunset and ocean, Allison and Captain Morgan were fantastic hosts!!! Great boat, comfortable ride, snacks and drinks were provided but you can bring your own food. Allison shared some cool history of Marathon Key. Friendly visitors and locals waving to us along the ride :-). Cool for couples and families, what a nice way to end the week.

Went on the sandbar trip early January. The boat ride to the sandbar was awesome, staff was great, boat was very comfortable. The spot we visited was not crowded at all, probably due to the time of year, but the water was still a decent temperature to swim in. There was lots of time to enjoy the water and the toys that were provided. It was a good time to try paddle boarding without any commitments. Great place to just float around and enjoy the water and view. Will definitely do this again when we come back.
